Ex-Anchor Kagan Sees TV Return

April 11, 2008 RSS Feed Print

It's been a little more than two years since CNN ended morning anchor Daryn Kagan's run, and now she's looking for a return—but on her terms. "A broadcasting gig would be nice," she tells us. "It would be nice to get back on the air. It could be radio. It could be television, a talk show." One option: satellite radio. Since being shown the door, Kagan has reinvented herself as a purveyor of inspirational news via her website, DarynKagan.com, two movies, and a new book, What's Possible: 50 True Stories of People Who Dared to Dream They Could Make a Difference. "My whole theory," she adds, "is like the movie Field of Dreams. If you build it, they will come."
