Dems Urged to Tie One On for Earth Day

Recycling's cool, but as fashion? We'll find out on Earth Day, April 22, if political hotties Sen. Barack Obama and Bill Clinton join Al Gore in wearing the latest in high-end neckwear—a silk tie decorated with the famous recycling symbol from Stuart Hotchkiss. "I would like to see Bill Clinton and Barack Obama wearing these on Earth Day," the boss of Capital Ties tells us. "They need to stand up and wear it on the stump," he says. And wearing it that very special day could impact the nomination race: It's also the date of Pennsylvania's primary election.
