Hoops Madness With Bubba

March 13, 2008 RSS Feed Print

Sorry, Hillary, but the NCAA's March Madness is beckoning former President Clinton. Since he came close to picking the winner last year, he should be even more focused when he appears with his picks on XM Radio's 60/20, hosted by pal James Carville and Luke Russert, son of Meet the Press host Tim Russert. Carville's worried. "This is going to be the worst year ever. It's just going to be hard," he says. "There are so many teams that could win this damn thing." He likes UCLA, Georgetown, and North Carolina, though he concedes that "it looks like it's careening toward Kansas." 60/20 is celebrating its second year, and Carville says it has shifted focus to sports bad boys. "We go for the fences."

Yes, I feel Luke could handle Meet The Press with assistance for co-workers for background information. It consumed Tim's life, but Luke would need assistance. Brian Williams should be Chieft of NBC Bureau if that is an upgrade for him. Brian should be in charge of Meet The Press, but Luke Russert should do the show. He is quite intelligent, and can hold his own. Go For It, Luke!
