House Speaker Nancy Pelosi seems to know all about reporters who whine about complaints from readers who don't even buy their paper but instead get it free on the Internet. Earlier this week, after getting her $1.25 daily New York Times delivered, she saw a top story about Democrats caving in to the White House on wiretapping powers. A few hours later, she attended a media lunch attended by one of the reporters, Carl Hulse. "With all due respect to Carl," she said, "I completely disagree with the article that was in the top of the fold, lead column on the right-hand side this morning. I just want you to know I saw it, Carl. I just didn't read it on the Internet. I bought my own paper."
