Bush's Fashion Stamp: Blue Ties

Well, it didn't work on the political side, but President Bush has found bipartisanship in fashion. His light-blue silk tie is now the rage on both sides of the aisle. Just last week, we saw two presidential hopefuls—Sens. Barack Obama and John McCain—each sporting one. "It really lightens up a man's face, and he comes across as more decisive, but in a human sort of way," says Democratic consultant Donna Brazile. "Blue is the new red."

his tie was and is a sign to that the establishment that the dogma of the ruling elite still holds sway.
