Pumping Political Pain

When it comes to laying blame, little speaks louder than a nice picture, and this time it's the Republicans who have the better image when it comes to who's at fault for rising gas prices.

The Senate Republican Conference has shipped us some nice color digitals of Senate Democrats standing in front of an Exxon sign last year that screams $3.09 for a gallon of regular. Right next to it: the same sign from Monday with a posted price of $3.19 for unleaded regular.

"Where are the Democrats now?" asks the GOP. Funny thing: That year-old picture was of a press conference where Democrats were decrying prices under the Republicans. This time it's the GOP asking why things haven't changed despite six months of Democratic control.
