It is best to stretch the pain out. The better to learn the lesson. We like to think that we could reason our way to an optimal state. The reality is that the current state of things are shaped by competing forces.
The era of the free lunch is ending. Consumption is dependent on production. You don't consume what what has not been produced. The future gets built by those that can. It will be paid by those holding money, one way or another.

Don't believe everything you're told.
I'm in Greece now to see what's really happening.
It will be calm at least till September. Greeks need too much tourism to ruin the summer by protesting.

Reagan was a senile fool, stooge of Wall St. and big corporations.
