Why Obama's Budget Doesn't Matter

The president consistently is talking about FAIRNESS. When is he going to recognize that he has about 50% of the population paying federal income tax, and 50% (48% to be precise) who is not paying federal income tax?

The pathetic outcome is that some are growing very comfortable in that life style -- especially in a growing number of states -- California in particular! Why isn't the President trying to change that? Why does he persist in stoking additional division within the Country.

This is not what is going to make the USA stronger -- merely weaker over time!

For those who are donning 'OBAMA BUMPER STICKERS' just remember that the Golden Goose can be killed! If this job killer is reelected, there will be LITTLE (IF ANY) investment by the private sector, and especially small businesses! WHY YOU ASK? BECAUSE THEY WILL BE UNABLE TO AFFORD IT.

Watch for a migration from the US to places like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Panama, and to a lesser degree, Mexico.

If you vote for Obama for him to 'TAKE CARE OF YOU', make sure that he is in the process of developing OBAMA LTD, and that he is as good MAKING MONEY, as he is spending the resources of others!

Heard the entire Obama speech at NOVA.

THE GOOD –

• Increased focus on community colleges

• Focus on the millions of jobs in the US going vacant due to internal skill shortages

• Continuation of higher education tax credits

THE BAD –

• Failure to address what 48% of the population is going to contribute since they pay ZERO federal tax

• Failure to address why we continue to permit upwards of 50% of public school students to DROP out of high school – with NO PENALTIES FROM DOE

• Failure to address any streamlining or savings in MEDICAID, MEDICARE, or SOCIAL SECURITY

• Failure to address structural fixes to the $16 Trillion in debt (25% in ten years is not a fix)

THE UGLY-

• The statement regarding a ‘strong military’ is a ‘miss statement’ to be kind. One cannot CUT the Army and Marine ground troops, and allude to the notion that ‘we are STRONG’! WRONG, and someone will ultimately pay the price – and that someone will ultimately be the Army and Marines.

• Today, when one combines ALL OF THE ARMED SERVICES, including the reserves and National Guard, those protecting us number LESS THAN 1% (ONE PERCENT) of our total population! Green energy will not protect us from our present day and future adversaries!

• Obama tugs at the heartstrings when he talks of ‘taking care of our Veterans’ but that was not his focus early on: Note the following: http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/03/10/veterans.health.insurance/index.html

• Check with your local VA hospital today, and learn of changes that took effect on October 1, 2011, for veterans receiving care. Ask yourself the question: WHY IS WOUNDED WARRIORS having to solicit donations? If the Obama Administration’s VA is so ‘caring of our Veterans’ why does the Wounded Warrior Project have to go nation wide for donations?

Think that Obama is merely throwing some divisive issues out to divide the country even more!

Here is an article that looks at how inaccurate government long-term budget projections have been over the last 5 years and how as late as 2008, Congress actually thought that Washington's budget would actually be balanced after 2012:

As Rick Perry would say, "Oops".
