Here is an excellent interview with Gov. Perry in C-Span

It’s possible to talk about a Perry comeback for three simple reasons. First, he has lots of money, which can cover a multitude of political sins. Second, the presumptive, albeit uninspiring, frontrunner, Mitt Romney, is not about to run away with the race because, to put it bluntly, hard-core conservative voters don’t like or trust him. And third, the other candidates are either damaged goods (Gingrich), classic marginal figures (Bachmann, Santorum and Paul) or Herman Cain, who seems to be trying pretty hard to vindicate predictions that he is a flash-in-the-pan.

The Joke...as you call him. What is it again that we need in this country..oh yeh...JOBS. You may disagree Alan from PA...but unless you subscribe to OWS...Perry, your supposed joke was able to do what no other state has done...create half the jobs in America since 2000. Creating revenues into the government help run is...and the revenues need to be private...not public.because those are known as taxes...did you get that Alan?

Oops...The Joke, as you call him, has a healthcare plan called Healthy Texas that has reduced healthcare costs in TX by 30% for business. Hey...if you get sick...better get a private plan, because someone in DC is going to decide if you need care...you know the 15 person NON MEDICAL team Obama has appointed.

Oops...The Joke has tort reform enacted where loser pays. Connect the dots...insurance premiums go down, state and local government taxes go down....Uh oh...the Joke just reduced your taxes for you.

Oops...groceries and gasoline. Yes...I assume you eat. Of course you could be on food stamps and in that case, I am paying your bill...but I digress. So because energy independence would be part of the program, JOBS are created...but the byproduct is this...it costs less to have goods and services go to market...and then it also costs less for you to fill er up.

The Joke has come up with the best tax plan we've seen ever. We'd become the USA instead of the bad stepchild of China...always whining for more money.

Mr. Romney...so it cannot be misconstrued is a liar.

It is hard to believe that Republican voters take seriously any of the people currently aspiring for the party's presidential nomination. Having said that, as shallow and vacuous as Mitt Romney is, it is still an insult to Mr. Romney to compare him in any way to Rick Perry. Perry is a joke--a dangerous one, but a joke nonetheless.
