After a Minnesota court ruled yesterday that Sen. Larry Craig could not rescind his guilty plea for a misdemeanor stemming from a Minneapolis bathroom sex sting, the Idaho senator has decided he's not going to resign, leaving Senate Republicans in a quandary.

Democratic members of Congress are trying to get their hands on two secret Department of Justice  memos that allegedly authorize painful interrogation methods for use on terrorism suspects. 

Pakistan's supreme court ruled today that no winner can be declared in tomorrow's presidential election until the court decides whether President Pervez Musharraf is an eligible candidate. Musharraf's opponents are questioning whether he can serve as both president and chief of Pakistan's Army.
