In less than 24 hours, the 2008 edition of America's Best Colleges will go live. Check back at usnews.com tomorrow morning for the most complete version of the rankings, tables, and lists, plus extensive profiles on each school. We'll also provide wide-ranging interactivity and search features that enable students and parents to find the school that best fits their needs.

Meanwhile, learn more about the methodology and what U.S. News does to ensure the integrity of the data published in the rankings in the Morse Code blog, authored by Robert Morse, our director of data research. And tune in tomorrow morning about 7:30 a.m. to NBC's Today show as U.S. News Editor Brian Kelly announces the new rankings.

Here's an interesting article on our college rankings and some of the recent controversies from the Associated Press.

In addition, we've just been alerted to a new survey by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions of more than 300 college admissions officers. The survey found that 97 percent of schools that participated in our rankings "plan to do so next year and in the foreseeable future."
