By "loose" you mean that it's in modern language. By "better translation" you mean 16th century English which sounds to you ears like God-talk. Right?

The capacity for blind ignorance in today's society continues to amaze me. If a Christian man still married to his first wife, and who is by all accounts a faithful, loving father and husband, and who is dedicating his life to the service of his country is the equivalent of Satan, then what would you call a fat, thrice divorced, egomaniacal, cigar smoking drug addict who does nothing for his country other than sit back and blabber endlessly about hate, racism, and misogyny? That's an accurate description of Rush Limbaugh, by the way.

I know the Bible well, but that translation is so loose I can't identify it. A better translation would help people recognize it as a Biblical passage.
