Marcharino,

Unfortunately, that whole pile of drivel you just spewed is meaningless in the context of those who don't believe in fairy tales. Thankfully, that context is growing every year.

Marc,

I think that you're the one with the misconception of who is, or what is, God. Your misunderstanding of the composition of humanity of body, "ego" and spirit is obviously at odds with God's definition of the tripartite nature of man and woman which body, SOUL and spirit (1 Thess 5:23).

The soul is the most important divine aspect of the tripartite nature. The soul is the eternal part of humanity that lives on after the body dies and spirit goes back to God who gave it!

Likely, that is why you don't care about perverting the traditional marriage ordained by God with gay marriage. After all, you don't recognize the soul of man and woman that craves to fulfill the will of God to unite two souls in marriage, consummate their souls in God's presence, and to procreate and allow God to give another soul a chance at eternal life.

Your definition merely ascribes "ego" in place of the intense and inborn soul's need to satisfy the soul that God gave each one of us! For truly, the only way to be at peace with God and sanctified wholly is to "pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

I really wish those in the media would do some fact checking for a change. The last democrat in the Ny-23 was in 1993, a whole 16 years ago, not 100 like the left leaning MSM would have you believe

Many of the problems arise about the misconception of Who or What God is. Most people have a need to bring the God concept down to their level of understanding - hence the birth of religion which is a man made attempt to reach God.

The reality is that we are all body, ego and spirit. The spirit is the God aspect in all of us and is eternal; the ego is our modus operandi in life. Our spirit is driven to expansion as does the whole universe of its. The ego seeks happiness in earthly means and consequently can never satisfy the spirit being. The continuous friction between ego and spirit creates a level of energy which expands the individual and the universe as whole. Through life experience the ego submits more and more to the spirit. Thuis can necessarily take more than one life time. Hence the case for reincarnation. At a certain point the ego is absorbed by the spirit, called enlightenment.

If religion brings our thoughts to a higher level of vibration guiding us towards enlightenment, it has served its purpose. If however the format of religion becomes the purpose rather than the means it does not accomplish what it is intended to do.

The reality is that it does not really matter. Our life experience is there to be happy and joyful. Who cares about gay marriage - these are ego driven needs. Let's all create a reality of high vibration which will result in a global higher level of awareness and which will naturally result in the disappearance of sexual deviant behavior.

God Bless

To make kids believe there are no atheists, preachers wrote the marriage rite to include.."In the presence of God." Not one child is to be free from having to hear, say and read the word "God." That's why the Knights of Columbus and others lobbied Congress to put "under God" in the Pledge. That's why our money says "In God We Trust? " Repeat, repeat, repeat the word "God." all you of oncoming generations. Read and re-read the Bible. Meanwhile, children in godless nations become experts in the sciences..Physics, biology, microbiology, etc., all the skills needed to advance knowledge to improve healthcare, etc. When couples divorce, they realize it is the civil court that divides assets. There never was an Eden. What kind of marriage could there be between mythic Adam. a mudpie man and Eve, recycled from a rib? He

gave birth to her, so she was his daughter. They were both Children of God, so they were incestous siblings. Can Bible experts explain these odd parts of Genesis?

Thus the best outcome for social conservatives is to hide that's what they are? So in short, Hoffman/TeaParty Conservatives can get elected if they deceive the voters into thinking they're not Hoffman/TeaParty Conservatives? Thus stealth candidacies are endorsed, putting one over on the voters is encouraged, and utter moral bankruptcy among the allegedly moral candidates results. Power for its own sake, obtained no matter how. How sickening. And I am a retired pastoral worker, formerly salaried at a church. I happen to believe in Christian honesty and candidness.

I think not. Please do understand - as an American who lives outside the US, I can see what you cannot. Society has ALREADY welcomed these people - it is our laws that need to catch up to the reality of how we now live. Gay marriage - indeed, marriage between ANYONE who wishes to be married - is simply a matter of time. Just as the Civil Rights movement took a generation to prosper, so it shall be again - and again, we will outlive you.

As to God - let him speak for himself. Remember that his book has harsh words to say for those who claim to speak for him.

In response to the comment that American people do not want to redefine marriage after 6,000 years... Marriage is continually being redefined. In the U.S., through the 19th century, when a woman married, she lost almost all legal rights and became the property of her husband (coverture). Currently, the Islamic tradition of child brides is being re-examined. Polygamy is legal and socially acceptable in many countries and cultures. And, in several countries, gay marriage is regarded as just another universal human right.

My point being, there is no static definition of "marriage".

I hope that this FINALLY makes the gay people realize they are WRONG! God doesn't approve! Thank God that young "gays" today will realize that society =will NEVER approve of you!!! You have the rights to marry - someone of the OPPOSITE sex!!!!!!!!
