Delegates of Sweden's Lutheran Church vote to allow church-sanctioned gay marriages at its annual meeting last week. Sweden legalized gay marriage five months ago. Roughly 3 in 4 Swedes are members of the Lutheran Church, which until 2000 was Sweden's state church, according to AFP.
