So OK you pretend to be polling me with the Saudi Peace Plan. OK ready? OK off we go. If Israel were to agree with a...

I- Full Israeli withdrawal from all the territories occupied since 1967, including the Syrian Golan Heights, to the June 4, 1967 lines as well as the remaining occupied Lebanese territories in the south of Lebanon.

II- Achievement of a just solution to the Palestinian refugee problem to be agreed upon in accordance with U.N. General Assembly Resolution 194.

III- The acceptance of the establishment of a sovereign independent Palestinian state on the Palestinian territories occupied since June 4, 1967 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

IN return the Israelis get...

I- Consider the Arab-Israeli conflict ended, and enter into a peace agreement with Israel, and provide security for all the states of the region.

II- Establish normal relations with Israel in the context of this comprehensive peace.

Yes, Whoosiedoo thinks there could be peace.

Q. why was this option not given in the survey? A. AIPAC that's why. They own our MSM, they own our Congress and they own our Senate: They are part owners with the bankers of our President and Sec of State Ms. Clinton. No, there wont be any deal because Israel is too busy taking Palestinian land and is getting all absolutely free.

Whoopsiedoo of MA 1:34PM November 01, 2009

This is the Israeli notion of a fair deal: Israel is entitled to do whatever the hell it wants to the Palestinians because, by definition, whatever Israel does to them is self-defense. The Palestinians, however, are not entitled to lift a finger against Israel, by definition, whatever they do is terrorism.

That's the way it's always been, that's the way it was in Operation Cast Lead.

And there are no limits on Israel's right to self-defense. There is no such thing as "disproportionate." Israel can blockade Gaza, can answer Kassams with F-16s and Apaches, and can take 100 eyes for an eye.

Israel can deliberately destroy thousands of Gazan homes, the Gazan parliament, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Interior, courthouses, the only Gazan flour plant, the main poultry farm, a sewage treatment plant, water wells and God knows what else.

Deliberately.

After all, ISrael is acting in self-defense. By definition.

And what right do the Palestinians have to defend themselves against this?

None.

Why? Because Jews are better than them. Because Israel is a democracy and they're a bunch of Islamo-fascists. Because Israel is a culture of life and theirs is a culture of death. Because they're out to destroy us and all Israel is saying is give peace a chance.

One look at the ruins of Gaza ought to make that plain enough.

"First of all, you along with many others conviently forget that Gaza has a border with Egypt, totally outside of Israeli control. Duh....just like Warsaw has that border with England (..it doesn't?, dang).......oops "

OOPS to you....you fully well know that Israel is the occupying authority under international law. Why pass the buck on to the Egyptians....so that when they open the border Israel can claim that Gaza is Palestine and go on to grab the rest of the West Bank.....common partner, Israels rope-a-dope schemes in the Occupying territories are well knowm

This poll is as credible as the ones done by Fox News. What a joke. Any rational person can see that the wording is so skewed that the results were predetermined

Jews do not evangelize, never have, probably never will. As a matter of custom a Rabbi is expected to refuse someone who wishes to convert at least three times. Why I here you ask?

Because Jews believe that non Jews are also children of G-d, who if they live a decent life, will the go on after death into an afterlife (just what that is is open for dispute ;)...)

Since being a Jew is fairly dangerious in many places, and jews are obligated to follow many for rules (keeping Shabbat, Kosher food, etc.), it is considered that you are not doing anyone a favor by helping them to convert.

Secondly - where did the Lebanese come into the picture?

And Really - Scripture is to blame for CENTURIES of misery? Get real, the problems of the middle east, however large they loom in your mind are peanuts compared to the problems of the world.

A short list from just the last century:

Armernian Genocide

First World War (The lost generation)

Stalin's forced collectivization (10 million+ dead in Ukraine alone due to starvation)

Second World War -

Mao Tze Tung - 20-30 million dead

Pol Pot - 1-2 Million dead (it was a small country yah know)

Yugoslavia falls apart (tens of thousands)

Rowanda (tens of thousands)

Chechniya (tens of thousands)

I'm missing so many things in this list...Dhufar, Nigeria, Uganda, Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, large chunks of South America, India/Pakistan, Tibet, etc.

Do you know that Arabs living in the West Bank have one of the highest Standards of living/life expentencey in the Arab World?

Gaza as the Warsaw Ghetto? Do you even have a clue?

First of all, you along with many others conviently forget that Gaza has a border with Egypt, totally outside of Israeli control. Duh....just like Warsaw has that border with England (..it doesn't?, dang).......oops

Nobody is rounding up Gazans and sticking them in cattle cars to be shipped off to death camps. Nobody is forcing them to try and live on 500 calories a day. Nobody is denying them medical care.

All Hamas has to do is stop trying to kill Israelis, but that's too much to ask....

West Bank Dangled?????

Dude (or Dudette)

They were offered twice the size of the west bank in '48 for a homeland and refused. Read the news from the times, they called for the death and/or rape of all of the Jews in Israel.

For almost 20 years ('48 to '67) the west bank was under the control of Jordan. Nobody did squat about building a homeland.

When Israel captured the west bank in '67, they offered to return most of it in exchange for peace. They got the 'Three Nos from Khartum - look it up).

The Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza are one big self inflicted gunshot wound. Until they (and you) accept the fact that one of their biggest problems in their own behavior, nothing will get better.

Hamas uses Red Crescent marked ambulances to transport bombs and then complains that Israel stops and searches them at the border crossings...well duh!

When religion was invented, it began the warmaking system called evangelizing. That means converting people from one faith to another, so the "winning" faith gets the dollar value of tithes that are switched away from the "losing" faith. Getting church income is the "mission" of every establishment of religion. Church law forces women to have big families of tithers. As Lebanese watch Jews increase by immigration & childbirth, they rightfully protest. As Jews increase, they need housing, so colonies spread. The USA should have adopted the Morgenthau Plan, to reduce Germany to an agricultural nation without industrial might to wage war. Instead, Truman interfered & concentrated on "containing Communism." Germany should have been forced to give WIDELY SCATTERED plots of land to Jews, with the understanding they were not to form all-Jew communities. Scripture is to blame for centuries of misery when it said God gave part of the Middle East to Jews, forever. Jews believe they must obey that obsolete command & on-Jews rightfully try to "normalize things" with no divine rights expected by anyone. If Jews stop scaring Lebanese with Jewish fertility, see what happens.

It would be nice to see Israel try for a change. Hypotheticals are amusing, but no more than that.

Gaza is like the Warsaw ghetto, the West Bank has been dangled in front of the Palestinians since Israel was formed as a homeland - but always blocked by Israel. Small wonder Palestinians are angry, frustrated, and economically suffering. Israelis should recall this - they were frustrated, and violently terrorized the British in Palestine until the British left and gave them the land. They complain about others being unfair to them, but have no sense of their unfairness to others.

Israel needs to stop construction and move all Israelis out of the West Bank. They need to enforce their border - to keep their folks where they belong. Then Palestinianns would feel Israel is sincere in its desire for peace and reconciliation.

The double standard Israelis have is plain for all to see. I believe in the idea of Israel, but am disgusted with their lies and double-talk on this issue.
