WASHINGTON -- On Monday, November 16 at 1:30 PM, the Coalition for Faith and Freedom, an ad hoc group of concerned clergy, will rally in front of the Justice Department in Washington, D.C. to test the limits of the expanded federal hate crimes law. On October 28, President Barack Obama signed into law a measure extending the federal hate crimes statute to include so-called sexual orientation. The ministers believe this will criminalize all criticism of homosexual behavior, including that contained in the Bible.

The problem, as I see it, is that there is only one God and since He is the only God, He has only one law. We have been conditioned to believe that there is a different law or rule for every person. So we've bought into the LIE that what is evil for me to do, if you do the same thing...it is good for you. There is no one standard recognized.

If that happened in nature- we would have PURE CHAOS.

Imagine if everyone decided for themselves when they came to a red light, whether or not to stop or go through it!

That is exactly the situation we have here.

God has quite obviously and plainly designed humans, male and female. It is also quite plain to anyone with any common sense- that in order to propagate the human race...it is natural and normal and scientific- for a male and female to become a pair.

But today- we have people that question that! They think there is another option!

They say...for you that may work and be good. But for me, I have a better way- a man with a man, or a woman with a woman. Then they call their lust, 'love' and attempt to persuade those behaving normally, that this is just another 'normal' option!

When God's representatives on Earth stand up for God's natural order of things, they are persecuted, just like the prophets of old. This so-called 'hate-crimes' bill, is just a thinly disguised attempt to shut up God's prophetic voice on Earth! This BILL is an emperor with no clothes!

Now, I would be the first to say that we ought to do NO human any violence. Jesus said that His Kingdom is not of this world...in other words- it does not use the physical sword to enforce its moral order. It is not the churches business to use physical violence, although so-called churches have been guilty in times past for committing abuses in Jesus name.

The Word of God clearly states that it is GOVERNMENTS business to use the sword to enforce moral order. (That's why police carry guns- and rightly so).

The CHURCH that belongs to Christ, however, has only ONE weapon in their arsenal. That is the TRUTH as found in God's Word. This HATE CRIMES law, though intended to only persecute those who illegally use force that belongs only to Government, may end up pressuring Christians to stop using the only God-given weapon they have-the TRUTH. This would be terrible, because it would mean that all moral authority in this world would begin evaporating. Your neighborhood, town, city, nation and eventually the world would descend into a dark age, where law and order ceased to exist. Anarchy!

There is a lot of confusion in this world about God and His moral order. A LOT of confusion! He only spoke to the world through one Nation. Israel. He created a nation from one man and one woman- Abraham and Sarah. This is how the Creator of Heaven and Earth decided to speak to the entire HUMAN RACE. He did not say different things to different people. God is a God of truth. Unlike we humans, God is consistent and does not contradict Himself. Trust Christ!

Scripture is explicitly clear on this matter. It proclaims homosexuality an abomination. Period. The Bible also tells me that I am to live peaceably with all men with everything in me. I am also admonished to pray for those who, according to His Word, are without hope and living in sin. As a preacher who does NOT receive payment for preaching, I have NEVER advocated violence against any person for any reason. I know several homosexuals personally, both male and female. One of them asked my wife and me one time how we could befriend him knowing what he was. Our response was that he is not the focus of our disdain, it was his lifestyle we hated. As I would say to any person living that life. The sin that brought my attention to Jesus, and inviting Him into my life, was not homosexuality, but

in God's eyes was no better or worse. In His eyes sin is sin. We

followers of Jesus MUST declare His righteousness because we have none of our own. If the words I speak offend you, your problem is not with me, but with the word of God. I would urge you to seek Him out. If the words I preach run me afoul of the law, so be it. Ultimately, my allegiance is to my LORD, Jesus Christ.

Since homo sapiens evolved, homosexuality existed. Countless pregnant women have been exposed to shock, stress, famine, beatings, rapes, incest, etc. Maybe these departures from placid lives affect their bodies. Maybe their bodies provide less volume or at differing times, when they deliver nutrients to the fetus. We see what happens to a potted plant if it lacks water, fertilizer & light. I wish gynecologists could do experiments to show what is happening in utero in response to very slight interference with the usual progress from conception to birth. Ranchers & zoo-keepers see homosexual acts by animals. Confinement & separation from the opposite gender may be the cause in that case--just a temporary anomoly. People of all genders suffer when churches intrude in our lives. For example, it took to 1973 for the Court to make our government stop enforcing Canon Law that bans abortion. My parents' generation no doubt had more children than if they had legal access to contraception & abortion. In l972, the Court repealed the church law that made it illegal to sell contraceptives even to married couples.

The New Testament was the money-making strategy that replaced Jewish Old Testament Law (based on Yaweh) with Christian law based on God. The focus word here is law. When faith-based corporations make church law, they always conflict with civil law. Church law has authority over nobody except church members. Civil law regulates lives of all citizens. But it wasn't until 1973 that the Supreme Court made our government stop enforcing Canon Law that bans abortion. Proposed Hate Law is meant to prevent civil governments from tolerating criminal acts committed to uphold church laws that "ban" homosexuality. It's vile that anyone preaches violent hatred against homosexuals, because nobody knows the cause of homosexuality. The Old Testament created a huge dollar value of its tither pool. The New Testament "converted" people so they shifted the tithe to Christian preachers. Then Islam converted Jews & Christians so they tithed to mullahs, All faiths were begun to create church income. Believers are taught to have contempt for "materialistic earthly goods," so they will more easily part with assets & give them to churches. If churches remove Leviticus & other homophobic chapters, there should be fewer hate crimes.

You have so many Pastors and Clergy giving in to the LGBT community as it is already. I would never condone aggression on any race/gender/or sexual orientation but why are we (Christians) allowed to be silenced? Old Testament law was overturned with the new covenant through Christ. I hear so many people calling Christians judgmental because they state their beliefs on homosexuality and call us hate mongers. If my God calls it an abomination, then that is what it is. I'm not trying to cause a person to go out and hurt or kill anyone by stating this belief. I think this is only going to lead to persecution for stalwart believers in the full gospel. People better be ready to stand for what they believe and not fall into the trap of tolerance. If they throw me in jail, I'll go peacefully but not quietly. lol If they start burning Christians in the street then I guess I'll show up early and bring the wood. What else can we expect from an Administration that is slowly unraveling 200 years of freedom?

Leviticus is part of Scripture that incites neurotics to kill homosexuals because they're "sinners." At the same time, Scripture says Christ died on the cross to "save sinners." If homosexuals are forgiven by Christ, why are church officials still persecuting them? Organized religion is a money-making scam, based on creating, keeping & increasing number of tithers. I have no details, but a gay man did file suit against a preacher who caused him great pain & loss of the love of his family, when the preacher outed him. If a member of Congress, a fanatical homophobe, rose in Congress & asked for a resolution to declare homosexuality is an abominable sin, to be punished by excommunication and Hell, what would happen? Maybe then the majority of lawmakers would remind the session that the Constitution guarantees liberty under law. Not under church law, but civil law. In the USA, the Land of the Free, it should not matter what private citizens think about homosexuality, but it does when they try to make other people suffer for their neurotic compulsions to dominate others. i hope a Hate Law has huge fines and jail time.

There is more at stake than just what a pastor may or may not say in his pulpit. What about business owners who turn down business clients because of their homosexual background? Will this be seen as a "hate" crime or the choice of a private business despite the reasoning behind that choice?

Yes, I am a Christian and I do believe homosexuality is a sin. However, I do not believe we should go out and kill all of the gays in the world. Yet, at the same time, I do not want to give them rights and powers that will enable them to do witch hunts on Christians. Sometimes the black community (Rev. Wright, Rev. Jesse Jackson) does the same thing by claiming a white guy a racist because he doesn't agree with what a black said. This doesn't mean all blacks do this, but a few do.

Anyway, I think we really need to consider why we need to pass a "hate" crime bill before we do pass it. Again, there is more at stake than just the religious speech of pastors.
