US citizenship for foreigners require they show they are "attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States ...". The applicant must pledge allegiance to the United States, renouncing other national allegiances. The pledge includes an obligation to support the Constitution and to bear arms on behalf of the United States if required. It is not possible to support the US Constitution and Sharia Law.

I wonder how many Muslims in the US lied to obtain US citizenship. US beware ... you will eventually be dominated by muslims and the Costitution will be replaced by Sharia if you don't wake up soon.

She says her job is to tell Obama what the Muslims want - it is clear from listening to her - they want Sharia law !!

This is not the only show she can be seen promoting Shari'a.

This is what Europe is dealing with - when so-called integrated Muslims are placed in prominent positions - they very often take the opportunity to advocate for Sharia law.

The US's mistake would be not to take them seriously - like Europe has found Sharia law emerging from the back door.

I doubt it if Obama would lend a hand to her Sharia drive - and the US does have its constitution.

But the Americans have to understand how Sharia is being pushed in Europe - on a blanket of complaints or Muslim grievances - such as Islamophobia. In some parts of Europe it had gotten so bad that if you did not go along with the request for Sharia - or Islamic alteration to policy or law - then you were labeled a 'racist' and an 'Islamophobe'.

In Europe - like everyone - Muslims are given an enormous amount of social benefits - even more than others in some cases - for ex. a Muslim man in the UK can apply for government money to pay for living expanses for more than one wife [most of which imported from Muslim countries such as Pakistan] - where each wife and set of children is provided with a house - and all living expenses paid.

So the problem does not lie here - rather the problem is that many Muslims feel that their rights should also include the implementation of Sharia law. Just as minorities fought for equal rights in the US - Muslims in Europe feel it is their 'right' to live under Shari'a - but also it is their right to see that others live under Sharia as well.

What is frightening for many in Europe - some [mostly] Left-wing politicians showed a willingness to go along with these requests - that would clearly undermine the freedom, rights and democracy - they were elected to guard. They would do this both for votes and an extreme fear of in anyway being labeled a 'racist' or holding rigidly to a political correctness view.

Hence the seemingly irrational Swiss vote and other changes to come in Europe. As the 'integrated' Muslims such as the Dalia Mogaheds of Europe, are working very hard behind the scenes to have Sharia law integrated into the legal systems - as a 'human right' - bolstered by the fact - that anyone who states that Sharia doesn't respect individual rights - will be singled out as a 'racist' - who needs to 'understand' Islam better or are ignorant and Islamophobic!

This is why Europe is moving to the right!

until physicists made them up no one used the words proton neutron electron atom subatomic particle quark and many others. these are words made to describe fictional imaginary bits of nothing that don't exist. Physicists made these words up and they go around talking about them as if they are real. some of them make fortunes doing nothing all day but talking about these silly things. Our governments spend untold 100's of billions of dollars on these things and no one has ever or will ever see them. Sometimes these so called scientists will make a big explosion and then go... SEE? that was a bunch of protons and neutrons that did that, but sorry you can't see them now they are all gone. when people get sick and die they say LOOK! the nuetrons or the "radiation" made them sick. Anybody can see the people have terrible skin diseases or cancer. skin diseases and cancer have been around for centuries before these silly words were invented. stop falling for this stuff. it's a scam.

Until Scripture writers invented them, nobody used the words Yaweh, God. Holy Ghost, Christ, Satan or Devil, Virgin Mary, Saints, soul, sin, Heaven, Hell, etc. There are WORDS for these fake entities, but they don't exist. In 2009, its pitiable that so many people say they "believe in" these figments of imagination. They were invented to create a category of poorly-educated people who make a living by "forgiving sin & saving souls." They create church income by doing all this "saving & forgiving." But Scripture says Christ tells people that as soon as they accept him, he instantly, PERSONALLY forgives their debts--past, present and future. How sadistic Scripture writers were!! They scared folk into becoming tithers, by telling them infidels BURN in Hell. For lazy, poor, envious folk, the authors promised eternity in Heaven, with free feasts, drink & access to gorgeous women. Atheists can't be scared or bribed to become believers & hand over ten per cent of our lifetime assets to tithe-dependent church employees. We work, save & fund civil liberty groups. We don't need to pray for rich spouses, better homes, jobs, etc. Sharia & all church laws are bad.

To paraphrase President Obama, you can judge me by the company I keep...

At best Dalia Mogahed is an incompetent analyst; at worst she is disingenuous or negligent in avoiding any discussion regarding the end game of radical Islam;

The imposition of Shira Law on all nations, preceded by the destruction of Western democracy in general and the United States and Israel in particular. Mogahed can attempt to discredit the reach and influence of Hizb ut Tahrir, but the fact remains the violence of radical Islam, inspired by a distorted vision of Shira Law, spans the globe and makes no distinction between combatants and non-combatants

How reassuring for Mogahed to share "the things the world most admires about the U.S. are liberty and democracy". Can the same be said for Muslim countries governed by Shira Law? At the end of the day, we should ask ourselves: Would I rather be a practicing Muslim living in a western nation or would I rather be a practicing Christian living in a land ruled by Shira Law?

Chris of GA 11:49AM October 25, 2009

If she were truly educated about the radical Islamic groups then she had to have known about the show and it's bent. Maybe she should pack up and go home and live under the sharia law she says women want governing their lives in the Islamic world and save the American taxpayer some money.

I don't believe a word she says.

Sharia Law is very evil. Sharia Law is the opposite of the Ten Commandments. Sharia Law stones women to death while Muslim crowds cheer. Sharia Law allows old Muslim male perverts to legally kidnap little girls, legally force the little girls to marry them, and legally rape the little girls with impunity. Sharia law lashes women for insignificant reasons. Sharia Law tortures little girls by practicing Female Genital Mutilation on them. Sharia Law cuts off hands, feet, and gouges out eyes of petty thieves. Sharia Law relegates women to second class status. Sharia Law implements the Jizya tax on "infidels." Sharia Law permits Honor Killings. Sharia Law murders apostates, i.e., people who no longer wish to participate in Islamic crimes. Sharia Law stinks. Sharia Law is Islamic, Satanic Law.

Satan's Bible, sometimes called the Qur'an, implements Sharia Law. There are no lessons in the Islamic Satan's Bible, sometimes called the Qur'an, on Morality, Justice, Honesty, or Love of Neighbor. Islam stinks. Islam is a very cruel, vindictive, violent ideology.

Islam is the complete opposite of Christianity. Jesus said: "Feed the hungry." "Clothe the naked." "Cure the sick." "Love your neighbor." "Love your enemy." "Do good to those who persecute you." "Keep the [Ten] Commandments." Islam teaches the opposite. Islam stinks. Islam teaches hatred. Islam comes from Satan, the father of hatred, violence, dishonesty, cruelty, torture, death and destruction. Violent Muslims are children of Satan, sometimes called Allah.

Your slant on history is interesting. While you do admit that historical abuses have occurred under the banner of Christianity, your implication that Christianity and Judaism are critically different from Islam strikes me as odd. All religions have their extremists - people determined to see their righteous place in the hierarchy of things properly maintained, and any sleights to their gods properly avenged. Certain aspects of both Judaism and Islam claim superiority over the peoples of other faiths. While I am receptive to all people, personally I do find that mildly offensive. There are people within most faiths, who clearly label and define themselves as such, and are willing to kill in the name of their respective faiths. You clearly misquoted me - I made no comment about separation of Church and State "in the Constitution." The US has a tradition, at the very least, of separation of Church and State. Some of our country's Founding Fathers also took a dim view of Central Banks like our Federal Reserve. Your point comparing "freedom of religion" vs. "freedom from religion" is snappy but shallow. Just which religion is going to be in charge of making sure I'm in a house of worship at the appropriate hour? Freedom FROM religion, as you put it is really the same as freedom from the imposition of other religions. It's really a vital point in the equation that is America. Again, it's about Tolerance. As to European troubles, I'd invite you to entertain this thought. I think Europeans are instinctively, and very sensibly trying to be more sustainable. That means limiting your population to preserve the resources necessary to continue on through time. Europe appears to be getting overrun by cultures with a different agenda, coming from countries with a history of expanding populations exceeding available resources. I'd be troubled by that too. Now, I just finished re-reading the original letter I submitted, and Hey!... I'd encourage you to go back and read it again, and may all the Gods bless you.

Sharia law has no place in the American society - this practice should be outlawd and strictly enforced. All muslims practicing sharira should be expulled from the U.S., along with any extremist islamic practices. If you want to continue in the old arcahic ways stay in your own country, don't bring that trash to America.

Greg Cwik of NY 9:58AM October 24, 2009

Don't lump all religions in together. A fundamentalist Christian or Jew is very different than a fundamentalist Muslim. Don't be ignorant.

And the notion that war and hate is cause by religion is nonsense. Christianity - while abused by some for centuries - is not a religion of conquest or jihad (murder by cowards). The Leftist religions of Communism, Marxism, and other state run machines have murdered tens of millions in our lifetimes, while Socialism and Agnosticism have crippled real marriage and birthrates to the point where European countries are dying and being replaced with Muslims.

This country was founded by Christians and there is NO "separation of Church and State in the constitution". It's called freedom of religion - not freedom FROM religion. Just another lie by liberals.
