Palin is out.Its obvious greed has caught up with her. She has

four goals she want to acomplish .(1) get the money from the book deal, (2) land a job on fox TV,(3)get the rest of the money from speaking engagements and (4)soak up the limelight as much as possible while doing the other three goals of hers.

The real republican president candidate has yet to show his face.

When a pregnant, single, poor woman doesn't abort, she goes on welfare. We taxpayers provide her with welfare, ADC, food stamps, free county hospital health care & subsidized housing. Sometimes we help her child get tuition.** Now, the basic fact of "fiscal conservancy" is to cut back everything that burdens taxpayers. Conservatives are also against "big government." But it takes More Government to enforce church laws that ban abortion. How big does Big Brother have to be, until it's bigger than the government being in everybody's bedroom? Conservatives need to take another look at Palin. See what happens as Pro-Life preserves the pattern of "big families on welfare." Often, they're religiously and strictly Ban-Abortion. They stubbornly reject all efforts to make them behave responsibly. Why? Because they're practicing their faith. Let her continue to preach, but if you're fiscally conservative, do you want more poor, big families to be subsidized by taxpayers? I know I can't afford to support them, and never did. I'm just a GENUINELY fiscally-conservative Pro-Choice taxpayer.

Huckabee has been my favorite all along. He's genuine and has some great ideas for shoring up this country's failing infrastructure. His book is a great read; I highly recommend. Read with an open mind and you'll see his brilliance.

Fellas, the big story here was not Huckabee. It was Palin. She wasn't even there to wow the audience and tied for second place, not 4th! She skipped it because her son was coming home from Iraq. I would call that move real family priorities and values!

Our country, or at least 51%, will not elect him for President.

I believe he has the conservative base, or almost 40% of voters, but that's it. He portrays himself as an evangelist/patriot on his show, and I think that is his true calling. The rest of the country would be convinced by the Christian bashing media to be fearful of his motives, and there are plenty of soundclips and video that can be manipulated to scare an ignorant public. As much as I wish Palin would have been at this summit, I think she realizes she needs a balanced approach to appeal to a larger voting block. She has proven her conservative credentials (speaking at Pro-Life events), so she needs to demonstrate she fills a much larger demographic with her views and vision for our country. If I had to choose today the GOP ticket, it would be Sarah Palin and Mike Pence !

Huckabee has the folksy act that draws a solid minority but I really have trouble seeing it translate into a presidential victory

Not elect a "Huckabee"? Who would have thought someone with the name Barack Obama would pass the electable names test? Just too bizarre, right? Especially given his initials: B.O.

As much as I might wish otherwise - America will never elect a President named Huckabee - And that's the truth, Huckleberry.
