all good things

It was terrible for God to send His Son, Jesus, to die for mankind--people like you and me, so we don't have to live without Him. He gave us free will, so all you have to do is accept it. You, obviously, chose not to accept His Son's sacrifice. Can you love people when they hate your guts, spit in your face, and think they can run the universe in their own intellect? No, it takes a supernatural act. Read the Bible without your "Godless" glasses on and find out why God does what He does before you pre-judge Him and the Jewish people.

It was terrible for God to tell the Israelis to kill all the Canaanites to TAKE POSSESSION their dairies and hives and all else. When I read that, I knew even more why I am Godless. It was terrible for God to give Jews the task of defending permanent ownership to part of the Middle East, near oil deposits. After WWII, Germany should have been forced to give widely separated tracts of land to Jews. They should have been urged not to create ghetto-style isolated "all Jews" settlements. I say that is a form of fascism--which means "all the same, no exceptions." It was terrible to create Israel on land developed by Muslims. If God created EVERYBODY and calls them all his children, it shows the opposite of love to turn faiths against one another. Our taxes should not be used to favor Jews over Muslims. But the Bush war for oil is a Christian Crusade against Islamic owners of Middle East natural resources. The answer is to develop other energy--wind, solar and wave. Obama should give tax credits to people who invest in and hasten develop of these alternatives to oil.
