Ted Kennedy: The Resurrection Gave Me Hope

It is a shame that this poor soul was tormented through all his years of life: Let see: DWI, Killing an innocent woman (possible lover who was pregnant), Misleading authority after the accident, cheating, lying, womanizer, divorce (not allowed in the church) MAN! This man has lived a long life of "a christian gone bad". May God have mercy on his soul... He was NEVER a model of a good catholic... None of Kennedy brothers were...they only had one thing on their minds.. and it was hanging between their legs! Ted was the man who almost was... but sold-out to the devil instead! I'm sorry, but the only constructive comment that justifies his life is ..."BURN IN HELL,SATAN!"

To all of the haters. Your hate won't lift you up to heaven. Actions are what matters and when a man does more good than evil you will never be able to take away what he did. N by the way, Moses was a murderer n HIS WAS NOT A MISTAKE! But if you like conplaining so much then go spit on the man's grave. Maybe it will make you feel holy.

May I correct my wording.

Over the years I have learned to accept God's capacity to forgive and save the lost.

If God accepts Ted Kennedy then he is a Christian brother to all who believe. God alone knows all of the hurts and circumstances we live with and God alone is our judge.

with the deaths of his two brothers and needed couseling and that could have been what he needed to get him on top of it. It was clear that he struggled with this for years and did not know how to deal with the tremendous losses in his life and was causing to drink and almost live an out of control life. Hearing all of this help me better understand him more as a person and have more compassion of him as a person.

Whatever your feelings about Ted Kennedy and the beliefs he had in life, it is interesting that he found hope in one of the strongest arguments for the Christian faith: the Resurrection.

Historians such as Josephus and others do record that there was a man from Galilee named Yeshua (Jesus) and was handed over to be crucified by the Jewish authoritees, to Pilate, was crucified, and a few days later His followers proclaimed that He had come back to life. The Resurrection is indeed an historical event there is hardly any evidence worthwhile that can easily disprove it.

Excuse me...is this article about the same Ted Kennedy, who is a "WORLD-RENOWN" public drunkard, who kills young girls in a drunken stupor, flees the scene of a manslaughter/homicide, never to be arrested....OR ANYTHING???????

I find it interesting that when all the 'low-life' people get religion when they are faced with immenent death!

It's a 'just-in-case there is a GOD' syndrome, it is alays good to cleanse the soul! Too late for all the Kennedy's! They flaunted there reprehensible actions during their lifetimes and now want forgiveness for all their 'sins'!

BULL!

When ever a person is facing with terminally illness and knowing that the day that will end their precious life and will depart from the world and the loved ones they will have to leave behind is a very difficult ones and an emotional one to accept as a true factor as any human would encounter .

At this time of thoughts into a person's mind is to console himself or herself by devoting their remaining time in religion and try to find peace within their spiritual mindset. This way , a person finds a way to relieve himself or herself and not painful for them to the last minutes of the remaining dearly life and ready to go onto the next life , in believing .
