We need to address the holocaust of the abortion slaughter first.

In a parallel effort and a "common ground" approach we support Sex Education.

Sex Education is important and most people completely support it. Sex Education should include love, how lust is not love, abstinence, responsibile choices to protect life, sona gram video of unborn babies, unique DNA at conception, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, STDs that cause failures to have children later, how condiums don't protect against STDs, sexual anatomy, sexual reproduction, sexual intercourse, reproductive health, emotional relationships, reproductive responsibilities, values, healthy relationships, and contraception.

Talking about sex education and contraception prior to addressing the abortion slaughter is working on lower priorities first. Sex education and contraception alone will not solve the abortion holocaust. It's like wanting to discuss proper diet to a person that is currently having a heart attack. We need to solve the heart attack (the slaughter from abortion). Proper diet may help but it is too little too late for a person having a Heart Attack. We encourage a "common ground" approach of true sex education. Sex Education must come as a second priority to abortion.

Why don't we call it Love Education? Sex is something that any animal can do. Sex can be lowered to only lust. Humans are much more capable of the complexities of Love. Humans are not limited to shallow lust.

Seek the Truth. Speak the Truth. Share the Truth.

Love Education.

Life is Love.

Love Life.

Abortion is not health care. It is a slaughter of 3200 unborn babies a DAY, 96,000 a MONTH, 1.2 Million a year, and more than 45 Million in 36 years in America.

This is a slaughter of the least of our people (poorest, weakest, most dependant, and least of our people).

Say NO to the free slaughter without a chance to respect and protect the lives of both the mother and the child.

Respect Life.

Protect Life.

Protect Love.

Love Life.

I love the morning after pill. They will sell them at the gas station soon. I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend all the time and just take the Plan B pill.

It is definitely better than waiting longer for the baby to get big.

We have free abortions in my state. We don't have to tell our parents either. Anyway one time they pulled the thing out of me and it was still moving and the arms were moving. Oh my god I was like I'm right here do you have to show me it!!!! I'm not sure what they do with it but I was like please put it in the garbage already damn....GROOOOOSE.

I sent an e-mail to Obama, my senators to ask them to show me where abortion/euthanasia is "EXEMPT" from this health bill. I also told them that if they are unable to show me "EXEMPT" and where it is located that I will know they are a deceiver of words. They are deceiver of words. There is no place in the bill for the word "EXEMPT." Our government is filled with liars and we put them in office so we must put them out of office.

Has anyone in government ever stopped to think how many human lives were cut short because respect "...for the least of these" only applies to political agenda to justify more government control and less individual freedom?

Human life is so precious that Jesus Christ went to the cross to die for our sins. That includes those who have been sexually immoral and have gotten pregnant. Don't compound the problem by aborting the baby. Prevent the problem by saving sex for marriage like God teaches.

Meanwhile, we need to get back to Getting To Know Jesus and let His love for others guide us in our actions and decisions. We also need to protect the lives of the unborn and the elderly from a government who has lost its focus.

Getting To Know Jesus will help us see What Jesus Would Do and help us change our lives for the better. It is time to get this nation more decisively back to God. Getting To Know Jesus is a tool that is designed to help us accomplish that purpose. Getting To Know Jesus will help stop the flow of sex outside of marriage and the abortions and host of other problems that come with it.

"The Capps Amendment, passed by Democrats in the Energy and Commerce Committee at the end of July, specifically says that the "public health insurance option shall provide coverage for (abortion) services," and directs the "Commissioner" to "assure" that every American will have access "to at least one ... plan that provides coverage of (abortion) services."

California Representative Zoe Logfren (D) admits to federal funding for abortion:

So basically either Pres. Obama is lying about not funding abortion with taxpayer dollars, or he just has no idea what Congress is actually writing. Which is scarier?

Great Job Dan, you are covering topics that are most important to most of us. Ignore those that want to sweep the important topics under the rug.

I am glad that Dan is speaking on God and Country on Faith, Politics, and Culture in the section called as such. I am glad that he is speaking about US NEWS because there is a lot of interest in the topics he picks. Most people come here to get the latest on US NEWS and God and Country.

If you want WORLD NEWS then maybe you should look under WORLD NEWS. If you want something other than GOD and COUNTRY then maybe you should look elsewhere.

ComPassion of IN 8:06PM August 31, 2009

Ignore the comment above, Dan.

There is *definitely* a story there. There is a huuuuge chunk of this nation that does *not* want federally subsidized abortions, and yes they are raising their voices at the town hall meetings and elsewhere.

Sure, there are many important topics one could write about, but the way our government decides to treat the most helpless and innocent among us -- the preborn -- is a topic more than worthy of discussing.

The only fear involved here is the administration's fear that too many folks have figured out that just because you don't use the word "abortion" in a piece of legislation doesn't mean that it won't be subsidized.

The press trying to keep a negative attack going on Obama when there is really no story here.

I wonder what Gilgoff's position (or those who pay him's) position is on the MIddle East?

Why is it you guys in the media write about two or three topics? Listen to BBC World News and you will get a news project that really covers things - every continent, all over the world, every subject area, every political system, every healthcare system, every type of business, sociological group, scientific idea, all of it!

Do you think people here are too narrow to take an interest in the world? Afraid they will? Afraid the ignorance will stop? Afraid you might lose control of your programmed zombie audience?

The press used to stand for justice and truth. Now it seems more and more focused on a narrow, paranoid and religious agenda intended to control the public with fear.

Gilgoff, write something about protestantism in Africa, Catholicism in the Phillipines, Buddism in Asia, Native American beliefs....do you know anything about these things? Help enlighten peopl by broadening their view - not closing it.
