Get your church out of my government or I will send my government into your church. For back taxes.

I, too, watched in disbelief as the priests of my parish, and the neighboring parish refused to distribute the bishops policy letter last year regarding the evil of voting pro-abortion..in fact, my pastor rebuked one of our deacons who had the guts to bring it up on the pulpit. I don't understand why these priests are not rebuked themselves by the bishops...Now they are distributing this letter regarding health care, and want us to do something to stop it?!! TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE... This country is gone to satan, with the help of the priests in Strongsville, Ohio...

"Reproductive Rights" are the code words for abortions. It's about time that my church and the American people woke up to the effect of this bill. All the wealth of the insurance industry will be given to the White House. When the private insurance option is gone, the government will mandate we buy health insurance only from the government and set the price and the care we get. Does that sound like a good idea? All will be forced to give or have abortions and pay for them. No freedom of choice or care.

Excuse me!

I am not a Catholic and will never be one. So really, I do not want my secular government passing laws based on what some Catholic Bishop likes or doesn't likes according to the dictates of his religion that he made up out of the clear blue sky.

My one and only answer to those men who complain about the immorality of abortion in our society is simple, if you are opposed to abortion, you can stop it immediately. Just keep your business in your pants. If you do that, there will never be another abortion. Sure wish the Bishops I know would try it.

I am at the point where I am about to leave the church. Here's something you can relate to; I give $100/week and $20/month to our sister Parish. You stood silent in 2008 and allowed an Abortionist/Infantisidist be elected President. Now I understansd you are in favor of this SOCIAIST reform of healthcare? I'm outraged! When will it and where does it stop? It's time to step up to the plate before it's too late. These people are EVIL! The Pope should have THROWN PELOSIE OUT ON HER REAR! They are an affornt to everything we believe in! Why won't you speak out before it's too late?

It has nothing to do with Right or Left!

It has everything to do with the Truth and Love.

Life is Love!

Respect Life!

Protect Life!

Love Life!

Protect all of our people and especially the weakest, poorest, and least of our people.

It's standing up for what is right!

The whole truth is published for everyone to read in the CCC (abortion is under 2270-2273).

The Obama Plan should not include funding for abortions. But why doesn't the Church also condemn the private plans that force subscribers to pay for abortions via premiums, most of whom get no other healthcare choice due to coverage being via employee plans.

The truth is an inconvenient thing. It requires us to confront the proud and mighty, and not just the lowly who have little economic or political influence. If corporations and the insurance industry were confronted with the same ferocity as the plan we are faced with now, I suspect we'd see real change in how our society looks at this issue. I've never seen any criticism of this nature in a parish bulletin, but I've seen plenty of criticism against FOCA or Obamacare (although I do agree with the criticism). We cannot end up captured by the Right anymore than the Left.

The Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth!

And tax exempt religious organizations, exempt from property taxes are supported by every taxpayer. And every crack pot television station is broadcast into all homes without that possibility of freedom of choice by those who pay for cable.

I won't go to your church if you will stay out of mine and I'm willing to be taxed for the privilege of privacy.

Any freshmen high schooler who listened in Bilogy class knows all of the signs of life, and that the fundamental unit of life is a cell. THE OVUM IS A LIVING CELL, THE SPERM IS A LIVING CELL AND, WHEN UNITED, THEY FORM THE ZYGOTE - THE FIRST LIVING CELL OF THE NEW ORGANISM - WITH A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF DNA, of course.
