All faiths except Quakers pushed believers to have many children to "grow their church." Most of them succeeded. Religious over-breeding created the mass of consumers that are wrecking the world. Jews can't win the breeding race over there, because Muslim men can impregnate four wives in succession. The topic of debate must change from "faith" to "regulating population." This includes global warming and deforestation and fishery depletion. People are having too many children. We made a start here in l973 when Roe v Wade forced the civil government to stop enforcing the Catholic Code of Canon Law that bans abortion. Mexico City, in 2008, made abortion legal. This must be done everywhere. Religion has abused its freedom to exist. Set aside holy books, be sterilized, use contraception or abortion surgery. Mrs. Obama said their family is just right for them at two children--a good example for all, I believe. .

When religion is held in contempt for causing wars, then we can be sure humanity has evolved. If preachers were not paid, all churches would close. Preachers are all mice running to get the same piece of cheese--the tithe dollar.

Hezzbollah fights fair? So guerrilla warfare, killing captured enemy combatants for propoganda, shooting mortars into Israel without reason, and other things is fair? Yeah right!

Hamas could really careless about the Palestinians. How do I know this? Well, during this last conflict, Hamas was shooting from schools and hospitals. When Israel had invaded Gaza, Hamas was hiding behind Palestinian men, women, and children by concealing themselves in the hospitals and schools. Israel on the other hand did not fight behind her citizens, but before them. Yes, many innocent people died. However, if we are going to blame someone, let's blame Hamas for hiding behind these innocent people.

As for Obama, I find it interesting that he's just *wanting to talk* to Iran about its nuclear program and *tells* Israel our friend and ally to stop building homes for people.

i agree with most of your points except few. hezbollah is not a terrorist organization. they fight fair. they only fought back when israel acttacked lebanon, can you blame them? as far as youre saying muslim world should get out the shadow of al qaeda? this is a joke right? cause thats really irrelevant cause those guys exist in afghanistan and not palestine. al qaeda was a cia operation. and they dont represent entire muslim world. they are mostly saudis, but us would never challenge that cause we are in bed together over oil. as far as hamas, they fight with israelis over these posts checks where kids, women and adults cant get any health aid, they are dying, starving to death. im not a fan of hamas but from the thousands of rockets they launched, there were "0" causlities. and everytime isrealis attack palestinians, there is hundreds of kids, children and non civilians dead. you do the math. obama is trying his best to bring peace to the region by two state solution. the palestine would let go of their hate for jews, if they just stopped killing for settlements and stop their illegal occupation. and i notice, the righteous jews are even against the settlements and support obama. only the isreali right wingers are part of the problem.

Israel should worry less about the current American president than about itself and how it is going to deal with the Palestinians. I am very pro-Israel, and somewhat anti-Arab (in the sense that the Arab world is still very politically immature).

However, Israel is going to have to make a real peace deal with the Palestinians sooner rather than later. Netanyahu doesn't seem to be the right person to do this.

At the same time, if the Arabs/Pals./Hamas, etc. do not get over their hatred and agree to let Israel be, then the US should remain a staunch ally. The Arab/Muslim world needs to get out of the shadow of the Al Qaeeda's, Hezbollah's, and other terrorist groups that show Muslims to be intolerant, undemocratic and violent. Israel is one of the few nations in the Middle East that can actaully be trusted. No one really worries that Israel has the bomb because everyone knows they won't use it (except against someone like Iran) but everyone knows that someone like Iran having the bomb is completely destabilizing.

Freezing settlements would be a good way to start.

For the US, actually being less dependent on exported oil is the only way we will ever be able to get the upper hand against islamic terrorism

Obama doesn't have an Israel Problem he has an Obama problem. He believes he knows how to run this country. He believes he knows how to run General Motors. He believes he knows how to run the Banking Industry. He believes he knows how how to run the Insurance Industry. He believes he knows how to handle North Korea. He believes he knows how to handle Iran. He believes he knows how to handle Europe. He believes he knows how to fix our health care system. He believes he knows how to bring peace to the Middle East. He believes.........

The truth is he only sounds as if he knows what he's talking about.

G-d help us all.

Israel was created in 1948. When it was created more than 700,000 Arab Palestinians were ethnically cleansed and more than 450 Arab villages destroyed with Israeli homes built on the ashes.

Israel must atone for the Nakba for a just and fair peace settlement.

But wait, there's more. Israel started a war in 1967 and seized a whole lot of land. That land seizure has never been recognized by the international community, including the United States, to this day.

Israel compounded the problem by illegally transferring more than 300,000 illegal squatters onto territory they do not own, OUTSIDE of Israel's internationally recognized borders.

Israel uses 75% of the available water with the Palestinians getting on again, off again about 25%, with fully 10% not having access to running water.

Israel is holding under siege the Gaza Strip. After Hamas won free and fair legitimate elections, Israel decided to put Gaza "on a diet" - they gleefully decided to turn Gaza into the modern equivalent of the Warsaw Ghetto.

Punishing 1.5 million Gazans for making a political decision that the occupying power, Israel, does not like. Israel is using collective punishment on a captive population to elicit a desired political response - the modern definition of State Terrorism.

This was forcefully brought home when Israel broke the ceasefire, invaded Gaza and destroyed thousands of buildings and homes and infrastructure, killed and maimed and wounded hundreds of civilians, fired White Phosphorous at civilians and used civilians as human shields; and they cynically made chilling phone calls to Gaza inhabitants telling them to get out but how would they get out of the Gaza Ghetto?

The State of Israel is waiting at every gate and fence ready to shoot down any Palestinian that dares even come close to the fence.

It is hard to believe that any rational human being could try and defend what is clearly indefensible.

To have an enduring peace in the Middle East, Israel must finally be forced to follow the same international laws and UN resolutions that all the other nations have to follow.

The United States will no longer look the other way while Israel's intransigence and land and resource theft goes unchecked, exponentially increasing the threat of world terrorism.

Israel does not have an "Obama problem" - Israel is plagued by leaders who refuse to follow the rule of law - Israel has a "settler" problem, of its own making.

Trust me, I'd like nothing more then to NOT be in the same nation as New Jersey but thats a side issue.

Israel is the reason that we have so many problems in that part of the world. It is flat out silly to use the reasoning that "we have no firends there so we should back Israel" when that relationship is in and of itself the cause of the friction.

Israel is a parasite on the US, plain and simple. We give them billions and they still spy on us and loot our technology. Time to end the free ride and let them stand on their own. That relationship provides no benefit to my country in any way shape or form.

It is revealing that you see Israel as equivalent to a US state in the in terms of importance to the country. If thats the case, you should move to Tel Aviv. Be honest, you see Israel as being your country as much as you do the US don't you?

The only people that buy your thinking are the end of days Christian types and Jews; both have only religion to justify our unconditional support for Israel.

Look at it ths way- if God backs Israel as the Judeo-Christian fundamentalists believe and they are his chosen people he will protect them, yes? Why do they need my tax money to do it?

obama and Israel?

If as I think, that obama and Jimmy Carter are anti-Semites and the fact right or wrong that most Americans believe that Jews own most of the news outlets, why are so many of them lap dogs for obama? Why aren't they up set about obama's anti-Semite position. If anybody can answer this question it would be U.S. News, or maybe NBC, New York Times, etc-etc.
