As you can see our elected officials are paying little attention to the public. As I reach out to my computer and I knock , knock, knock on the screen, and I say is there any body out there?
This Health Care issue keeps taking turns and twist that bewilder the mind in thoughts. This $100 trillion dollar system ,as it would seem, I am counting up to $ 8 trillion 682 billion Dollars so far. On guy emailed me and he is up to $27 Trillion dollars.
You see when Harry Reid added a extra ....almost, $2 Trillion dollars in a tax forum, this through my numbers off with the 1 to 3 year spread of taxes.
Lets show you this way seeing how I run out of fingers to count on and I do not feel like taking my shoes off.....
to get a $4 Trillion dollar tax spread, it is based at a 0.25% up to 4 years.
To be able to see the amount taxed in one year as a whole at 50% is around $8.2 Trillion to $8.8 Trillion, please remember according to Government Officials this is to be a spread tax, 3 to 10 years.. There is over 10 thousand companies I have not even got to yet.

If an entity has a heartbeat, my position is that it has a soul.
Taking that life by any means whatever is murder.
Even before that, given normal natal circumstances, the entity will become a child.
Will that child bring happiness and worh to the world? Will he or she be a gutter bum or the president or the one on the team to cure cancer?
How can anyone deny the opportunity for this person's destiny to be played out?
But the murderers are dressed in nice suits and live high on the hog.
And you don't believe there's evil in the world?
Please.
Stop the madness.
Stop federally funding this unspeakable evil.

Thanks, Lou, for the heads up on the Hyde petition. I went and signed it and will let others know. For you anti-choicers: remember, abortion is legal in this country and need not be treated differently from other health care issues. Further, this is a WOMEN's issue, so anti-choice men can butt out. Religious objections? That's fine, but don't try to foist your religious values on the rest of us.

Terrific, read the bill, as long as you realize this is not THE BILL.
That there is yet to come two more from the Senate. Then, if others manage to present them a couple more rattling about in the Senate.
Let's see it wind down a bit. Lots of time to beet the drums on specific things when it appears it's coming up for a vote. I mean that one from the House still has to go up against those from the Senate before it winds down.

Here is the deal.
If you will persuade God (whom we are told hates the killing of human fetuses) to stop killing human fetuses--via spontaneous abortions--then and only then will I join in on the political campaign to criminalize all persons having abortions.
In the meantime, try to come up with a consistent argument.

Will the Catholic Church in its infinite wisdom advocate for federally-funded ovary, fallopian tube, uterus, testes and vas deferens transplants?
It would seem so from recent comments. Paul Lauritzen, professor of religious studies at John Carroll University in Ohio, quoted in the July 2009 article below, depicts the Roman Catholic Church as favoring intercourse leading to non-genetically related offspring over baby-making with a couple’s own genetic material:

I implore all Catholic Church clergy and theology instructors to publicize and to expand upon this logic that favors women conceiving with donated ovaries over women conceiving with their own eggs. So, the Catholic Church essentially says, it is morally permissible for a woman to have intercourse with her husband, procreate and give birth to a child not of her DNA, but a grave moral evil if a woman’s eggs and her husband's sperm are joined via IVF and all embryos are transferred to her uterus for a chance at life. (Reference – Fr. Tad Pacholczyk, Director of Education at the National Catholic Bioethics Center)
Which of the two scenarios would likely cause more lasting damage to the marriage and to the resulting children’s self-esteem? “Honey, I have no idea who your biological mother is, but the Catholic Church said we could only procreate through intercourse, and I had problems ovulating, so I chose to have donated ovaries inserted in my body rather than have to turn to evil IVF to become a mother. Rest assured all is right in God’s eyes.”
Why hasn't mainstream media picked up on this fascinating logic of Catholic teaching yet? It would make a great counter-piece to the Roman Catholic Church in India planning to subsidize tubal ligation reversal to attempt to raise birth rates among a declining Catholic population there!

Abortion is very much a concern of mine as well, but if you start thumbing through the 1018 pages of the healthcare bill, the language is also strong about determining care as you grow older.
Does this language scare anyone else: Page 430
11 ‘‘(B) The level of treatment indicated under subpara12
graph (A)(ii) may range from an indication for full treat13
ment to an indication to limit some or all or specified
14 interventions.
But if you are talking about abortion what is this supposed to mean: Page 769
3 ‘‘(1) Improving maternal or child health and
4 pregnancy outcomes or increasing birth intervals be5
tween pregnancies.
"Increasing Birth Intervals"... so how are we supposed to interpret that?!
Please take the Healthcare 1018 Challenge and read all the pages of this bill so you know what is hidden in there. With this kind of language our government will control life and death.

Hey Steve:
When last did you throw a baby shower for an "unborn entity"? It takes the dehumanizing of tiny human beings to justify killing them in the safest place they should have been - in their mother's womb. My appeal to the world is that we honor the sanctity of life for mankind was made in the image and likeness of God. The killing of the unborn is therefore an offense against God and should be morally reprehensible to any modern civilization that claims to be just and right.

A preborn child constitutes human life. The good book states - "Thou Shalt Not Kill!" This refers to human life not to pigs, chickens or cattle. The pro-choicers lack moral insight period and it's probably due to the secularization of our country that a godless form of atheism is considered the state religion. This country is on the wrong path. And if it continues on this
immoral path, in time, pro-choice America will end up on the same dung pile of human history as Nazism and communism did. They were responsible for the slaughter of 100 million human beings. We Americans have done the same thing exterminating 50 million innocent helpless babies by abortion since Roe vs Wade.

The Hyde amendment punishes poor women who get pregnant. There is no punishment for the man who got her pregnant.
The misogyny and hypocrisy of the Republican Party is very disturbing and destructive.
