Churches invented the tithe system to make income for preachers. They invented "sin" so they could be paid to "forgive sin." They invented "the soul," so they could be paid to "save it." They made laws banning abortion so women would be forced to produce ongoing generations of tithers. Holy writ authors did all this invention for MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. Then they scold against collecting material goods. There is a word God but there is no God. There are The Three Little Pigs, the Three Bears, and the Holy Trinity, but these are all fictional characters. The big problem now is religious over-breeding. The world can't support ever-bigger populations. Japan could not support its over-breeding masses so they pushed out to get things for Japanese CONSUMERS. Catholic Germany, over-filled with non-aborted conceptions like altar boy Hitler, demanded "Living Room in the East." To clear it for German CONSUMERS, they killed inhabitants. Because of over-breeding in Catholic Mexico, & Latin America, the USA is teeming with millions of illegal immigrants, CONSUMING TAXES, stealing jobs and sending money home as tithes. Religion is not respectable. Get rid of it and its destructive fictions.

I am a sngle father. I raised four children to adulthood by myself.

I couldn't get any help from any government programs like WIC, welfare, food stamps, child care, housing, education,or anything else.

I was actually laughed at when I tried to force the mother to pay child support.

So I say, equal rights? Ha Ha Ha! Women want all the rights!

Until men have the right to refuse to pay child support if they don't want the woman to have the child in the first place. Or until a man can force a woman to pay child support if he has custody. I don't want to even hear this deadbeat dad stuff!

I know about deadbeat mom's

But you women don't want to hear about that do you?

When he created his faith-based office in February, Obama expanded its mission to include striving to "support fathers who stand by their families, which involves working to get young men off the streets and into well-paying jobs, and encouraging responsible fatherhood."

There are plenty of men who dump their wives and kids and all of a sudden they are interested in the children they ignored for years. Why? They want to humiliate their wives and don't care about their children.

Then there are some men who were taking their share of bringing up their kids.

If you are one of the second type, and you want to make the laws fairer, get together with other man and start a movement.

Women have been doing that for a long time. So instead of whining here, organize with those who agree with you men and women and work hard to change the laws, state by state.

Just as gays have done. YOu can't get something for nothing.

Good things happen?

Oh, yeah, like:

1. abortion on demand from conception to birth "

You agree 100% with the jihadist muslims! Gays are evil! Kill them with a "prolife" gun!

If women are raped its their own fault and the rapist can force her to have his baby. 500,000 women die each year from pregnancy and childbirth - that's what Allah/God wants!

There are more than 100,000 small children who would benefit from being adopted. How can that be if "prolifers" believe all children are precious? Oh, I get it - real children have BRAINS that work and so you think they aren't worth saving.

By the way how many children do you have? 15?

" How about we all just shoot for respecting each other (agree to disagree) - stop killing each other - "

Speaking of "shoot" how many people have you shot? More and more lately we see "law abiding" gun owners shoots groups of innocents often in churches!

And the "prolife" party has killed more than 95,000 Iraqis, some of them Christians.

If God is what you say he is, you are all going to hell for killing people.

Hey Plain Jane, there are quite a few contradictions about what you write. After you blast religious people, you say say you have good manners enough to keep your mouth shut. Obviously you don't.

You say we are not animals doing what comes naturally in the forest, but then you say how much we need contraceptives and abortion to decide whether or not we have children, as if the choice to have kids can't be made on whether or not to have sex.

I've got news for you. Abortion IS a dirty word. It involves the killing of a human being.

Sadly, these fatherhood initiatives will fail since policy makers are only ever willing (or allowed) to talk about half the problem -- that is, men stepping up to be responsible parents. While this is true and a worthwhile message, it is, unfortunately only half of the issue.

In many cases, perfectly fine dads who actually fight to be good fathers are shut out of their own families by the simple fact that our rights to be equal members of our families on par with the children's mothers are just not protected. Ultimately, the level of our involvement in our families and the raising of our children is determined by what is expedient for their mother rather than what is best for everyone involved.

We've taken child support collections, etc as far as they can go. Until men and women are supported as parents in a spirit of equal responsibilities and equal rights, these problems will not go away.

It is obvious from the posts here that there are people in this country that can not handle the fact that a black man is president.

All of these right wingers upset about the Gates incident need to ask them selves why the charges were dropped by the local DA if the arrest was so kosher? Where are the right wingers who claim to love "freedom" when a man is arrested on his own property for hurting a cops feelings?
