It is amazing how many people are completely ignorant to what Family Planning does! Rather than talk about the issue you have outlined in your very fair article, people insist on leaving comments slamming Family Planning!

Services Offered by Family Planning Clinics-

Women's Health

Birth Control

General Health Care

Pregnancy Testing & Pregnancy Services

Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD)

HIV Testing Services

Hepatitis Vaccines and HPV Vaccine Services

Men’s Health Services

Patient Education

Many thousands of young women that are working low wage jobs seek Family Planning out for annual exams and birth control pills. Without Family Planning these women would not have health care. The vast majority of people that go to Family Planning clinics are uninsured and do not qualify for Medicaid. Sixty-seven percent have family incomes at or below the federal poverty level. Every dollar spent to provide services at Family Planning clinics saves $4.02 in pregnancy-related costs to Medicaid.

Family Planning services help to prevent 1.4 million unplanned pregnancies each year, which would result in 600,000 abortions!

The health providers at Family Planning care about a woman’s health when she is pregnant and care that she will deliver a healthy baby!

Do some homework people before spitting out your lies about Family Planning and stop for just one second and think about someone other than yourself!

Its an accounting scheme!!! Pelosi is blocking & then burying any real amendment, the Pitts-Stupak amendment, that would truly ban abortion & bring this matter to a CLOSE. Why shelve this amendment, because so-claimed Catholic Nancy is vehemently forcing this bill down even her our caucus to include abortion by claiming the Ellsworth amendment will make everything all better. NOT TRUE Nancy! Making a deal to increase funding for Planned Parenthood is going to increase abortions, look at the numbers from previous increases. Go figure!

-------------------------------

My Dearest Planned Parenthood,

Here's a big pot of money we set aside just for you to do whatever you'd like, but don't spend it on abortions. We trust you to keep the finances separate because we know you are good people & look the other way when you have broken the law time & again with cases of covering up rape & incest. We wrote the bill with vague language to confuse the US citizens so you don't have to worry about any pro-lifer meddling to see if you did break this rule. We even got a so-called 'pro-lifer' & wrote the Ellsworth amendment, it will silence the masses until we vote this weekend & then reveal that it bans no such thing. Abortions for everyone! Keep up the good work but do you think you could move from aborting 1 in every 3, to 1 in every 2 pregnancies? I know you can do it, especially with this money you are restricted from using for abortions. Wink, Wink.

Sincerely,

The US Government

If abortion is to be covered, Obama should be honest about it.

What is not right, and likely to result in his being called a liar (yet again), is for Obama to say it won't be covered while a provision in the bill can, and will, be interpreted otherwise.

Like his illegal alien assertion, will it take his being called out on cable to result in his words reflecting what's in the bill?

I'm a writer and I imagine a wonderful, scary book. The novel starts off with a country struggling in a recession, a modern world full of noise, a generation who want no responsibility and only care about taking care of themselves. A girl of eighteen years old goes clubbing, gets drunk, has sex with someone she doesn't know, and 10 weeks later finds out she's pregnant. Eighteen-- she doesn't know a lot about the world yet but the doctor tells her that the government will help pay for an abortion. She goes ahead with it and another life gets flushed down the toilet with the millions of others. Eventually, kids in America will become rare and precious and our country will start looking like Germany-- a land full of old people with a higher mortality rate than a birth rate. I can't imagine this helping our economy, because we won't have a work force and a generation for consumerism.

I know of people who stand firm against abortion yet voted for Obama because they felt that voting for the Republican Ticket has not accomplished anything. Therefore, the issue was mute; neither party was really doing anything about the issue and all they were doing was causing noise over the issue. Therefore, rather than voting the elitist in once again, who know nothing regarding the average blue color working American, let’s go with the new. However, I also know that if they knew that their tax dollars were to be use to subsidize abortion, they would see this as themselves participating in abortions which they would fine unconscionable. Therefore, yes they were in the middle but are now being kicked out of the middle into new areas because they are being forced to participate in the subsidy of what they fell is horrific. They would stand oppose and ready to vote out those who would force their tax dollars to support the unconscionable.

I'm not saying your idea is wrong, Did you know, but your numbers on Hilter's concentration camps are simply wrong. 6 million Jews were killed alone, not to mention Slavs (who died in much greater number then Jews), Poles, heck, Serbia lost 1/6 of her population. While the hole debate on what makes a death camp and what makes a concentration camp *can* push the number done a bit, but that's simply desceptive.

interventional abortions = electric vacuum aspiration or manual vacuum aspiration = Suction Abortion is where they suck the unborn baby out of the mothers womb with a vacuum.

The first method to slaughter the unborn baby is to use a vacuum to suck the baby out of the womb.

ComPassion of IN 8:15PM August 03, 2009

The Capp Amendment is a guarantee that Federal tax money will subsidize intentional, elective interventional abortions by at least one plan in each "exchange."

I suppose that this will be balanced by the in vitro fertilization that's covered under that same "reproductive choice" umbrella.

bnuckols of TX 7:02PM August 03, 2009

Suction Abortion is where they suck the unborn baby out of the mothers womb with a vacuum.

Dismemberment Abortion is where they take forcepts to dismember the babies parts and pull them out of the mother womb. They rip the legs, arms, and body apart to extract the unborn baby. Then they crush the head to remove it.

Partial Birth Abortion is where they deliver everything but the head of the baby, They then stick a pair of scissors into the back of the neck of the unborn baby to seperate it's spine. Then they use the vacuum to suck the babies brain out.

Do you support the suction abortion, the dismemberment abortion, or the partial birth abortion?

Which of the above is a choice for the unborn baby?

The Truth will set you Free!
