Can Pawlenty Win Evangelicals and Moderates (Unlike Palin and Huckabee)?

Mssachusetts employers pay the highest premiums in the country to cover their employees. There is not a nickel's difference in Romneycare and Obamacare. Both forced people into an insurance plan or fines them if they don't get one. Both claim to get everybody insured (and neither are/will be successful).

Both claimed to lower costs. Wrong. Both paid for abortions on demand.

No to Romneycare, Obamacare, and vote No to both candidates in 2012.

The millions raised by Mitt and his campaign of 2008 was used to attack his fellow candidates. He attacked McCain as moderate and so denied McCain the support of the establishment republicans during the general campaign. Mitt is a barking Mad Dog with no clear plans for America except the boastful declaration of him being a CEO of Bain Capital (exactly responsible for outsourcing jobs to China to amass his wealth), and being a failed governor of Massachussetts. He is the Limbaugh type that simply attacks with no clear alternatives.

Wake up America! Have some common sense! Huckabee for President!

Until he goes through the same vetting process as did Mitt Romney, I am still supporting Mitt Romney 2012...he is already into finger pointing without proper information as Huckabee is famous for..I want truths, not lies or lies of omission.Mitt is seasoned and mature and a proven success..Mitt will follow the Constitution and knows Numbers..A businessman is needed...Private sector success...with His dime....Morally sound..Wake up America....

It's too bad that he got off on such a bad start by stating completely bogus figures regarding the Massachusetts health care plan. As has come out in the last few days, the plan is actually running slightly under budget, not wildly over by several hundred percent as he claimed.

He either needs to quit lying or do his homework before opening his mouth.

Mike Huckabee's momentum continues to skyrocket. His popularity factor keeps soaring as did Ronald Reagan with his comeback win from 1976 to 1980.

Mike Huckabee's new TV show "Huckabee" is rated # 1 by Nielsen TV ratings. His show smokes the competition beating out MSNBC + CNN + Headline News all combined! And his 3 x week ABC radio broadcast is listen and heared by millions.

Check out his popularity factor, google: Huckabee Fan Club

Countless number of similiarites exist between Huckabee and Reagan. To name just a few (Both Governor's, Both TV & Radio celebrities, Both strong Pro-Life, Both Tax reformers, Both Charismatic, Both for limited Government, Both Great Communicators).

Media always say that Huckabee is too far to the right. That is completely wrong. Remember that blue collar workers "Sam's Club" workers allowed him a victory in Iowa. Remember also that people in America are more pro-life than pro-choice as proven by Prop8 in California. Huckabee can win the presidency and he is the only one that makes sense in the GOP field right now. While congress debates health care, Huckabee had the initiative of reaching out to doctors which are highly affected by this issue.

Don't be fooled by media people. Huckabee appeals to most demographics. When it comes to the African-Americans, an Obama vs Huckabee fight will be decided by Conscience Vote. McCain lost because he has no appeal with this demographic.

Huckabee is intelligent and he has learned wisdom. He is in touch with the least among americans since he used to be among them (from a family with no aspirations for a college degree). He is the product of the american dream.

All for Huck! of DC 8:15PM July 30, 2009

hard name to elect, you will never see a president named Huckabee---even though he's the best of the evangelical pack.

As for Pawlenty leading the far right, uh, they will need to explain to him that they, as a group, do not believe in human-caused climate change (even if his pastor does.) Oops.

Muser of NM 7:54PM July 30, 2009

Huckabee?? He won't ever be President of this country. Pawlenty is more intelligent and he knows how to appeal to everyone in the party. Palin is a phony and Romney talks out of both sides of his mouth. Huckabee is a nice guy but he is too far to the right. The GOP will never win with him. They ate unlikely to win period because of demographics.

The media had totally ignored Huckabee from the beginning to end of the 2008 presidential campaign. Same bogus opinions that he can't win independents, that he can't win conservative democrats, that he can't win moderate republicans and that he can't raise enough funds. All of those issues sunk Huckabee's campaign. Until now, even if Huckabee hosts big events it isn't shown in CNN and other news networks even at FOX. He is always labelled as a pastor totally neglecting the fact the he was a governor for more than ten years and a lieutenant gov for few years. He also graduated magna cum laude. He ascended as chairman of the RGA and eventually to the NGA.

The latest poll also shows that among leading republicans Huckabee is favored by most independents and conservative democrats. Those are results of scientific polling. So Dan Gilgoff why a total neglect of that info about Huckabee?!? Are you illiterate or simply stupid? Why put Huckabee on a box? He remains an asterisk in every news stories even if he leads a national poll. Is it because he is just a poor man? Your opinions of him are highly inaccurate. You always think he's unelectable. You haven't heard of Huckabee's excursions into liberal universities with standing ovations? Of course you haven't because your blind and deaf. Poor bastard.

Stupid Media Inc. of DC 7:24PM July 30, 2009

Why vote for Huckabee-lite when you can get the real deal. Once people get an unfiltered look at Huckabee in 2012, he will not only walk away with the Republican nomination but the general election.
