Our world is the way it is because of religion and cooked politicions. All regigions are at fault not just one or two or as many as ther may be.Each and every one of them think their's is the only one and will fight to the death to prove it.Every war that has been fought was fought because of religion and crooked politions. Most all if not all politions are lawyers and are corrupt because of this reason.Ffrom birth all humens are taught the rights and wrongs of life and laws.First their parents and friends and then schools and local law inforcement,so they all know what is right and what is wrong. But then comes along the collage of law.Why do they go to school for law, they already know the laws they will need in life,There is only one reason, they take years of scooling to learn how to get around the laws. And this is the kind of people we hav runnig our country. And gues what all these law evaders were voted in by the people.Totaly sad isn't it?

I appreciate you writing this article. It not only confirms my mistrust toward Obama, but it gives me the reason for not trusting him. Obama speaks with equivocation that when I listen to him, I really do not understand his position on important moral issues. This makes me not trust him at all.

Hudson should speak out more and I would be interested in his commentary on the latest encyclical of B-16 which I believe is so relevant to our present political, economic, and even moral discussions and debates.

Many teens and women need help and there is help. We want women to get the support they need. We want women to get the love they need. We want people to have someone to talk to and help them when they are pregnant. Please share the truth and whole truth with them.

There are many places that are willing to help them during tough times. Being pregnant is a tough time for every women and they need all the support they can get. That support is available at many websites and organizations.

Share the truth of where they can get the help: http://www.nurturingnetwork.org/clientpacket.html

lol what a load of rubbish. catholics dont like obama go to the catholic website. no catholic would suport abortion, this issue will not drop full stop. the democrates are pro abortion catholics are not, it will only take the republican party to lose the wrongly imposed image of racist to win over america. just think all the very religious black ppl in america would neva of voted for an abortion pro candidate all because he was black. just wait for a few minority high up ppl in the republican party whos message is portrayed as simple hard working and a religious party, just watch america go back to republican party, all the catholics would as the pope would suport the anti abortion party and so whould many blacks as there is a large very religous percentage. obama has no chance, when this slight image change happens he will have non of the religous sect he cant go back on abortion. most of the mexicans he is trying to butter up, will go to the repulican party if they change some of there views, there catholic remember trust, you dont forget your routes, if your mother and grandmother are catholics trust you allways have it inbeded in you. ps if you dont belive me about black religous ppl being esentially anti obama just look at the leading christian rappers, lecrae shai linne trip lee etc. the all have the same message meterials are worthless they would neva abort a baby,

The idea that Hudson's opinions about Obama's anything are worth printing is ridiculous.

It is intereting to me that the Bishop of Rome was able to meet and talk President Obama. But the bishop of Ft.Wayne in the USA would not meet with him. What a lost opportunity! Bishop Darcy should have learned from the late great Cardinal Cushing of Boston who not only would have met him but probably would have asked him for a donation for the Schools of boston that in the 50's and 60's were caring for poor childrenof all races. If our bishops were not so afraid of the Taliban catholics in our Church we might be able to move forward and bring young people back to church. The European Bishops because they are mostly trained theolgians, know how to handle these issues intelligently. God deliver us from the semi-Calvinist and semi-Jansenists Bishops , Priests and People who are corrupting the real catholic faith in this country.

There's little value in polling folks who simply self-identify as "Catholic."

Not very often, a poll distinguishes between self-identifying Catholics (who's opinions pretty much mirror the US population at large) and Catholics who attend Mass regularly (who's opinions more closely mirror the teachings of the Church).

Without recognizing this distinction, there is no "Catholic vote" to poll.

DB Roeder of KS 11:48AM July 24, 2009

1. Catholics are becoming less and less single-issue voters on abortion.

2. There isn't really any such thing as a "Catholic vote" anymore.

It's has been brought to my attention that some people believe that the death penalty is not something that is brought up when people talk about Protecting Life.

Here is some information everyone should share:

Under the death penalty, there were 37 people executed in America in 2008.

Source: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/cp.htm

Abortion executes,

- 27 unborn babies every minute in America

- 3200 unborn babies a day in America.

- 1.2 Million unborn babies a year in America.

- more than 45 Million unborn babies in 36 years in America

We should focus on what is the greatest killers to human life in America. Spend the majority of your time doing the greatest good.

We should respect all human life.

We should love others as ourself.

We should not Kill.

Seek the Truth. Share the Truth.

It is in the Catechism of the Catholic Church document:

2270

"Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person--among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life."

2271

"Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law."

2274

"Since it must be treated from conception as a person, the embryo must be defended in its integrity, cared for, and healed, as far as possible, like any other human being."
