Does the Hate Crimes Bill Threaten Religious Liberties?

For those who read the bible and quick to judge a person who is physically impaired by hormonal deficiencies, thats not God's intentions saying that its a abomination. Man does not judge another human being. I grew up in a church since i was five. I taught the bible and i am a lesbian. I know god's laws. If you knowingly know that what you are doing is wrong than you have sinned, but there are persons who have problems with their physical chemical makeup. i was tested when i was a teenager for something wrong when my christian family found me kissing another female. Do you know what the doctor found? Something the bible doesnt teach you. That sometimes things mess up inside a persons body. In my case I have more testosterone then a female should which attracts me to females with normal estrogen levels. I agree there are people who know they are not gay but they do it anyways. thats sin!!! I am a sinner but not because I have sex with women. I should be a man. I pray to God and I do his works so sinners keep judging because you will be judged by the judge soon enough. Hense Hermaphodites! who do they have sex with. They have both female and male sex organs. Think about that! At what point does their sex life become abomination in the Bible. Hate crimes are fueled by hate. You cant hate something or someone you dont know and were not suppose to hate were suppose to dislike.

So many people want to forget that walking in man's ways is not wise. Now we're talking about making laws against walking in the ways of God. I think people need to stop and actually read the Bible cover-to-cover and study it out before they start accusing people of being "Bible-thumpers." Reading the Bible is the key, rather than thumping it. The main message of the Bible is to repent. I know the REPENT word is unpardonably unpolitically correct, but nevertheless, repentance is required. You can't just do evil and call it good. That leads to a godless society and unspeakable atrocities such as are committed under totalitarian regimes.

Why is the word REPENT so unpopular? Most people prefer to think they are right about whatever pleases them and they do not want to acknowledge there is any need to repent. Culture is the new way of celebrating this. Now we are to have laws that tell us to follow a secular or cultural mindset rather than looking to what is good and true. That's just one step away from a government doing your thinking for you. As for me and my house, we will think for ourselves based on what is right rather than what someone tells us is right. American values are based on clear thinking. And that means the word REPENT still has value in America.

Christians & "Hate" Bills

If "hate bill"-obsessed Congress [and Obama] can't protect Christians from "gays" as much as it wants to protect "gays" from Christians, will Congress be surprised if it can't protect itself from most everyone? If "hate bills" are forced on captive Americans, they'll still find ways to sneakily continue to "plant" Biblical messages everywhere. By doing so they'll hasten God's judgment on their oppressors as revealed in Proverbs 19:1. (See related web items including "David Letterman's Hate, Etc.," "Separation of Raunch and State," "Michael the Narc-Angel," "Obama Avoids Bible Verses," and "Tribulation Index becomes Rapture Index.") Since Congress can't seem to legislate "morality," it's making up for it by legislating "immorality"!

[We are a longtime "underground" ministry specializing in fearlessly airing unique articles such as the above listed ones - and we will give $100.00 to anyone who isn't "moved" by them! The prayers and help from true Christian patriots have kept us going.]

Anyone considering the merits of this issue should at least be aware that the progression of the LGBT agenda in California was to use the definitions of prohibited acts in hate crimes law, which is intended to be protective and is therefore quite broad, and apply it to the law governing public schools. So expressing "intent" that makes violent crime more punishable is now being applied to punish teachers and school employees who express any thought that anyone--not just gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender people--MIGHT find offensive. We can expect that the same kinds of "censorship with a hammer" will be applied to all public employees, and to companies and individuals who provide goods and services to government, or who have ANY dealings with government. In other words, churches and pastors who criticize LGBT behavior as sinful will be frozen out of any government-related program, like adoption, and even performing marriages that are recognized as legally binding. It will become a basis to bar people from juries, from asking for zoning variances from local government (such as to build a bigger church), to get accreditation for a church-related private school. The LGBT magazines and web pages are explicit about the fact that they believe that getting same-sex marriage installed will destroy all legal distinctions between normal sex and LGBT varieties of behavior.

If people would realize what gays want: to be protect from physical violence. Obviously that is too much for most people to understand or too difficult.

I could care less if you tell others that I am going to hell because I am gay. I could care less if you want to preach your beliefs to others who are willing to listen. I could care less if you want to tell me that I'm going to hell, because I've already heard it, and I'm sure I will hear it another thousand times before I die.

The only thing I care about is whether or not you touch me to kill me or injure me.

Why can't you people understand that?

You say, "Are your rights being challenged? Mine are."

And what right is that, Eric? The right to treat others badly and cloak it in God's love?

When will you wake up and realize that your silly 'gods' cost this world and its citizens far too greatly.

It is always astounding to listen to religious folks come out of the woodwork to try and use God to justify their dispicable, ugly, behavior and true Christians want NO part in it.

The homosexual agenda has screamed for tolerance. It has called for the right to openly do as they want. This happens with the idea of tolerance. We want the world to tolerate and accept their diversity. So why do I not have the right to be tolerated to preach against it? Do I not have the right of free speach? To me, there is alot of hate mongering going on from those that are excited about this hate crimes bill. Do I think that a person that is a homosexual should be beaten or physically harmed? NO! However, i do not agree with it based on the Bible. That is my right under freedom of religion that this country was founded. THe thing that concerns me is how many see it as freedom from religion. Everyone wants to talk about no God, Jesus, Holy Spirit-or that He is love and accepts everything. The truth is, is that God is love, but don't forget the He is holy. Whether you believe in God or not matters not to god, He knows you. I truly want to know where the hate is lying, it seems that it imminates from a lot from the writers here. Are your rights being challenged? Mine are.

Eric of VT 7:56AM July 20, 2009

Disagreement doesn't equate to hate.

Just because I don't condone certain actions, doesn't mean a person can muzzle my opinion in public. That is something our Founding Fathers have died for.
