What about Bill th Republican Schill from the Catholic League makes him qualified to support anyone or anything. He is a Republican Schill that uses my Catholic Church for his own personal and political gain. To those unaware,,, he does not represent the Catholic Church in any capacity.

I am old school Catholic and heartbroken at how Donahue uses my church for his political gain.

Read the feedback, in classic Bill the Schill fashion, he praised on the 13th and "attacked" on the 14th.

As a pro-life Democrat, people like Bill Donahue do more harm for life and the church than any priest scandal can do. It's a shame, but the way it is. Again I ask, read any of Donahue's feedback -- It's political - not Life.

Here are my thoughts on the issue of weight where Dr. Benjamin is concerned:

An open letter from Fit After Thirty to Obama’s Pick for Surgeon General, Regina Benjamin:

My insider sources say that she is very very conservative. The Fact that she has served on 2 Catholic healthcare boards makes me deeply concerned that she may not support Emergency Contraception in ERs and in cases of rape, nor will she support birth control...

Working in the Mostellar indigent clinic in Bayou La Batre Alabama-a hole in the wall at best- in no way prepares this woman for such an expansive role.Frankly, she has been playing the political circuit for some time in Alabama-Puppet on a race card string is what America got with this appointment--At least though it wasnt Sonja Gupta though-Too much like Geraldo Rivera.

privately agrees with the common-sense statement made back in the 1990s by Dr. Joclyn Elders that roused calls for her to resign as Clinton's Surgeon General. We'll never know, of course, since Dr. Benjamin will have learned from Dr. Elders' tar and feathers episode that a politically-appointed doctor is not at liberty to be "frank" on basic stuff.
