The recent articles analysing Obama were a disgrace and totally contradict the Pops and American Bishops statements regarding Obama. No wonder modern Catholics seem aimless and have no idea what the Church actually teaches. On wonders just exactly what "spirit" has entered into the Vatican! There is absolutely NO credibility to the Vatican newspaper anymore.

J. Leininger of TX 5:55PM May 26, 2009

There are at least two sexual abuse lawsuits currently pending against the Vatican in American courts. Just recently, a federal appellate court gave the go-ahead for such a suit to proceed. .That one is being appealed. Jeff Anderson, an attorney representing plaintiffs claiming abuse by Catholic clergy is seeking to depose Benedict XVI. The Vatican is urgently looking for Obama's Attorney General to short circuit this legal process. Conciliatory gestures by OR are cheap grace for a coveted favor.

Conservative Americans "griping" about behavior of some in the Church?? It used to be called standing for the TRUTH!

I was dissapionted when the Vatican Newspaper spoke well of Obama's first 100 days in office. Whoever wrote that article was not well informed. I have always considered the Vatican newspaper as the official view of the Church. And now I don't!

I hope the person or persons iresponsibility is taken care of immediatly.

President Barack Obama voted three times for infanticide. If that makes Obama a good person, then the editor of L'Osservatore should have his head examined, and then fired as editor of said paper. It's shameful that the editor isn't well informed.

Philip Saenz of TX 3:07PM May 22, 2009

L'Osservatore Romano is just a eyetalian rag sheet. it don't even have a English name cuz it run by antiamerica librul obama lovers. pope doesnt agree with them neither. he hate obama like we do or we replace him with Texas boy Deal hudson. nothing is above Deals pay grade. majority bishops is nothing, we only count ones who agree with us.
