Here is an article from the Centers for Disease control and Prevention on condom effectiveness. It covers STDs including human immunodeficiency virus, HIV. They write:

"Latex condoms, when used consistently and correctly, are highly effective in preventing the sexual transmission of Hiv, the virus that causes AIDS".

Hard to know what to do with someone who claims that the use of condoms has been 'scientifically' proven to prevent the transmission of AIDS. Making such a claim involves a challenge to the integrity of the Pope and his understanding of what is required to control the spread of the disease. Mr. Knox is out of his intellectual depth, here, and his status as an advisor to the President makes him an incumbrance which the American taxpayer can do without.

Oh give me a break. So what. This is a non story.Im no more suprised about Mr Knoxs opinion than I am about the Popes.I wouldnt exspect anything less of him. He is pushing the progresive attitudes of the next genaration. I know its a hard pill to swallow but its no diffrent than the poeple from the late 50S to the 70s that have changed our coulture to where it is now.Viva the new genaration may you learn from our mistakes.
