We swear we saw Joe in Province Town Mass.!

We knew this homo "thing" was a foil to distract us!

Joe may be gay. Study Joe, and you may find that Joe subconsciously fears his attraction to men and the subsequent awkwardness to his peers should he be "exposed".

All the republican whackos who opposed gay people turned out to be gay. Gannon, Craig, most of the catholic priests, list is endless. Democrats are sympethetic to Gay causes - but arfe rarely gay - Clinton, kerry, Obama, tons of others. List is endless. The only people who attack gays are closet-gays themselves. So how long before Joe is caught with his pants down?????

joe does indeed have a right to his opinion, and in my book,he is dead on the money.we have become a nation where freaks like sean penn goes on tv and says all kinds of pro gay crap,he is best buddfies with castro, and no one has been bashing him,so leave joe alone.

its a sad comment about our sociaty, when conservatives are branded racist, and the only ones bringing up the old race card is the far left democrat loons. at the tea partys we had black americans stand beside us,and i was proud to be there with them. the black americans, yes,i said americans, realize that the left has tried to use them for voting purposes, and they are a little smarter than you give them credit for.

I find it interesting you say we should let it go "in one ear and out the other" and cite the 1st amendment as your reason, because he was just practicing free speech. Respecting someone's free speech does not mean that we cannot criticize them for their comments. Unfortunately JTP has some influence over a portion of evangelical conservatives, and magazines like Christianity Today find him important enough to interview. So I think talking about his archaic and absolutely ignorant comments is important.

If there were any actual challenge to his right to express his views, being an ACLU member I would defend his right to say it. But I don't know of anyone making a challenge to his right. And if that happened, after I defended his right to say it, I would continue to criticize his views.

Don't confuse respecting the 1st Amendment with allowing people to say things without a response. They're not the same.

Why on earth would anyone get worked up over Joe the Plumber. Regardless of what he believes all he did is practice his freedom of speech. If you don't agree with him let it go in one ear and out the other. The problem with all rights is you have to take the good with the bad. Joe is the bad in this case. We don't have to agree with him but we should defend his right to say it. So take his comment for what it is, and move on. There is no need to lump all conservatives and Republicans under the same blanket. Just because I am a conservative who believes in the constitution does not make me a racist or an idiot! I don't think all liberals want a free ride and hand out. By the way he has the right not to want a person or a particular people around his children, they're his children.

Ymerej of SC 4:05PM May 08, 2009

I wouldn't let Joe near my children

Bud of OR 11:02AM May 07, 2009

It is so unfotunate that Joe has confused homosexuality with pedophillia. Being homosexual does not mean you are intersted in pursuing a sexual relationship with children. Being homosexual does not mean that you are not a decent individual.Keeping his children from homosexuals will not prevent them from being victimized by some sick perverted individual.

Rev. Monica Beasley-Martin of OH 9:24AM May 07, 2009

was NOT a fan of America or the American Revolution!

Matt of MO 4:42PM May 06, 2009

"The millions of Americas Truck drivers, plumbers, carpenters," who used to belong to thriving unions which made sure they earned enough to be able to have a single earner and a home-based parent (usually the "housewives") do not agree with Joe, the illegal worker who is no different than illegal workers from Mexico or any other country.

Joe is stealing jobs from legal workers; properly licensed, properly trained plumbers, union or not, who don't believe like Joe does that they are more special than everybody else, and don't have to follow the same laws as everyone else.

Joe has been proven to be a massively lying twit. So has the Anita Bryantine Miss Bigot 2009, a proven liar at least twice over, broadcast with a smile from the stage of her home mega-church!
