"...believes in the protection of human life at all of its stages..." Wow! now i'm REALLY confused!

Dr LeeTrott of AL 7:19PM August 22, 2009

Can you say cafeteria Catholic Mr. Kmiec? Criticizing our church for defending LIFE. Go read and study the early church fathers, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, study your faith sir...learn what is truly means to say you are Catholic.

We have had our dark days in our church, yes, and they have been caused by individuals like yourself. How sad that some will choose to leave this rich and beautiful faith because of the arrogance, lies, and poor example of a Catholic man like you. I will pray for you...

"the President brings great intelligence and open-mindedness to the needs of many who previously were invisible to the governmental process."

For instance...?

"Professor" Kmiec has sold his soul and all intellectual credibility on his hope of an Ambassadorship. "For what benefit it a man to gain the whole world, but lose his immortal soul?" As a Catholic, I find this man's disingenuousness insulting.

I turned in my "Catholic card" last year. The Church has devolved into a loose affiliation of mostly far Left ideologues and a few traditional doctrinal Catholics, and a clergy that simply does not support the Church's teachings on life, and not unlike Mr. Kmiec, squirms in place offering backwards logic for life arguments intended to justify their "social justice" policy which supports every leftish issue but LIFE itself. Mr. Kmiec's allegation that Obama is a "natural Catholic" may in fact be accurate since nouveau Catholics are nearly indistinguishable from doctrinal marxists and the Latin Church's "liberation" mythology. Just add "black" to that comic strip teaching and you have Obama's Chicago church, frequented by another stellar Catholic, Michael Pfleger (forgive me if I do not refer to him as Reverend or Father.)

Mr. Kmiec is the same pro-life Catholic as K. Sebelius who, along with her financial supporter and best bud, George Tiller, have transformed conservative Kansas into the late term abortion capitol of the US. All the more tax generating revenue to help those illegal aliens get free health care and public education - true pro-life issues, right Mr. Kmiec?

So, farewell all you fervent life promoting Catholics: Kmiec, Sebelius, Kennedys - all of them, Biden, Kerry, Leahy, Pelosi, Newsome, Pfleger, McCaskill, Matthews, Viera, Giuliani, Durbin ... Who wants to belong to a club with these guys as members??

And worse, Kmiec teaches at my alma mater, Pepperdine University. Further proof of his ecumenical correctness.

Thinking themselves wise they have become fools!

Reading about Mr. Kmiec I immediately thought of Revelation 3:16, So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. What a waste of would-be great men, to choose to follow the wide path.

Abortion is a taboo topic in our culture, that is unfortunate. I arrived here from another planet and observed the importance this world or this nation placed on abortion as portrayed in the media and by politicians I could only conclude that without unhindered, government funded access to this procedure all women on the planet would very soon perish. Someone please explain to me why abortion is the most important health care need for women?

"Too bad this man was involved in wasted years working for Reagan and Bush before he "matured"."

Sure, he matured, just like an overripe banana. He's rotten.
