What James Dobson's Resignation Means for Focus on the Family's Future

The political polarization has been a powerful source of the disconnection of younger families from Focus largely due to the fact that political correctness has been amplified to that point that there in effect has been a "new correctness" installed that places feelings very much above truth to the place where weighty words are not even used anymore. Words that used to regularly amplify the absolute are repulsive to those who have now lived a whole lifetime inside the situational ethic where truth is now dialectic and thus not relevant. The battle for the hearts and minds of our children has in large part been won the removal of the concept of evil. Amazing how easy it is to remove evil inside a world made artificial by fiat money. When people have (artificially) nothing to fear, the corresponding wisdom is (in reality) removed and people think its ALL good and everyone is going therefor to the only place(in their minds) that exists. When its all good there is nothing wrong, and immorality itself is good. All it takes is for you to believe in it.

So. The measurement of iniquity can be gauged by the refusal of this generation to see its need. There isn't any. Such need can only exist where being convicted replaces being offended because you see a truth that is more immediate than your comfort. Truth is like art. It requires a line be drawn. SOMEWHERE.
