Bobby Jindal, Catholic, Draws the Same "Secret Muslim" Allegations That Haunted Obama

Dan, people like you are only doing your fellow left-wingers a diservice. This continued attack on Palin is going to backfire. You and yours already have made it extremely apparent that the majority of MSM is unquestionably biased in favor of Obama. Each instance like this only makes it more likely that more and more are unlikely to believe any of the bile you spew forth.

In the future if you have nothing intelligent to say, you should probably say nothing.

Try "Hindu," not "Muslim."

Sheesh.

Johnny of WI 3:21PM February 25, 2009

I did a Google search with the terms "Bobby Jindal" and "muslim." The results? This article and articles citing this article.....

So, essentially, you are basing your blog post on .... what exactly? Two comments on a previous blog post?

Kinda ironic that the only "source" for your article's assertion is ... your article.

This is another lie that is trying to make Republicans look racist. I already wrote a letter to the Editor regarding this article and I hope that US News Doesn't pay this guy otherwise they're wasting money.

Wow… after reading this blog entry I had to do a quick fact check. I went to the earlier entry that had supposedly drawn the ire of Sarah Palin supporters and simply did a search for the word “Palin”. The “few comments” that you refer to in this entry amount to one… That’s all I could find. However, I counted four nasty anti-Palin comments (written by Obama supporters)!

These four not only significantly outnumber the one but were just downright mean intimating such charges as Sarah Palin is “dumb” etc…

After looking at the contrast, I found it interesting that you would focus on the one as opposed to the many. After reviewing the comments here, I find it even more interesting that most of them are written by people that most likely would call themselves liberal and bash anything that doesn’t conform to their limited mindset.

Why is it that liberals are so close minded and intolerant?

Matt Royal of WA 1:06PM February 25, 2009

All of this hopping mad rebuttal by Team Sarah members would be more credible but for the allegations appearing there on an hourly basis that Obama is a secret Muslim and/or Hitler, and/or the antichrist and/or a foreign born pretender and/or a conjurer who tricked the great unwashed into voting for him. Personally, I blame the witches.

Here's one I've received from a wingnut relative:

If you don’t ever forward anything else, please forward this to all of your contacts… it is very scary to think about what lies ahead for us here in our own United States… better heed this, pray about it and share it.

THIS DEFINITELY WARRANTS LOOKING INTO — THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED, ONE NATION UNDER GOD’. ALMIGHTY GOD, NOT THE GOD OF THE BHAGAVAD GITA!

We checked this out on ’snopes.com’. It is factual. Check for yourself.

Who is Bobby Jindal?

Probable U.S. VICE-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE and current Governor of Louisiana, Piyush Subhaschandra Amrit Vishnu “Bobby” Jindal was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Raj Jindal, a punjabi HINDU from Khanpura, India, and Amar Jindal, a punjabi ATHEIST from Khanpura,

India.

Jindal’s parents met at the University of Delhi. When Jindal was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to India. His mother then married Lolo Sidhartha, a RADICAL Hindu from Bangladesh.

When Jindal was 6 years old, the family relocated to Bangladesh. Jindal attended a HINDU school in Dhaka. He also spent two years in a Catholic school. Jindal takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Hindu. He is quick to point out that, ‘He was once a Hindu, but

that he also attended Catholic school.’ Does he think he can fool us?

Jindal’s political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Jindal’s introduction to Hindu came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Jindal

returned to Delhi soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son’s education.

Lolo Sidhartha, the second husband of Jindal’s mother, Amar Jindal, introduced his stepson to Hindu. Jindal was enrolled in a Vishishtadvaita school in Dhaka.

Vishishtadvaita is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Hindu EXTREMISTS who are now waging religious war against the western world.

Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Piyush Subhaschandra Amrit Vishnu “Bobby” Jindal has joined the Catholic Church in an attempt to downplay his Hindu background.

ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office as Governor of Louisiana he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Bhagavad Gita (their equivalent to our Bible, but with very different and dangerous beliefs).

Let us all remain alert concerning Jindal’s expected vice-presidential candidacy. Could he have pulled the wool over John McCain’s eyes?

The Hindus have said they plan on destroying the U.S. from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest levels — the Vice-President of the United States? One of their own!!!!

Attached is a picture showing Bobby Jindal “visiting” with a Hindu yogi (a spiritual and political leader) in Dhaka. Is this the sort of person we want in the second highest American political office?

Please forward to everyone you know.

If this is what passes for journalism these days it is no wonder that hacks like Dan Gilgoff will soon be working at McDonalds.

Wingnuts are wingnuts. They see a person of color and they've just got to slander him. It started with Reagan's wedge politics and race cards in the 1960s California campaigns. But the wingnuts just can't seem to stop, even if it's applied to one of their own. Maybe the new spending on education will dry up some of this national ignorance of other cultures.

Sully of CA 10:32AM February 25, 2009

Just two comments in your earlier post is enough for U.S. News and World Report to slander Sarah Palin and all her followers as crazy, racist, hatemongers.

Dan, was that you who screamed "Kill Him" at a McCain/Palin rally and then reported that the crowd was chanting "Kill Him" "Kill Him"?

You are a dishonest hack.
