It was rather interesting for me to read the post. Thanks for it. I like such topics and anything that is connected to them. I would like to read more soon. BTW, pretty nice design you have at that blog, but don’t you think design should be changed every few months?

I cannot believe that so many people reject the actual art of science. Science is unlike the church not based on opionion but on tangible data and facts. We have done many labs for example in bio proving evoloution is very much possible with bacteria populations and anti-biotics. People of european Descent for example have a much higher immunity against the bubonic plague than other races reasons in both Science and Religion

Science: All those that weren't immune to the plague died out before being able to produce offspring

Religion: God declared it so...

Seriously actually study Greek Mythology and you will be astounded at how many simmiliarities there are between Christians and Paegans.

Interesting story you got here. It would be great to read a bit more about this matter. Thanks for giving this data.

Bobby Sorenson, your argument contradicts itself. You state that you don't believe in evolution but that you do believe in natural selection. What exactly do you think natural selection leads to? Over time, creature with more successful traits yield more offspring with these traits. I would argue that you see evolution at work everyday.

It is the easiest thing in the world to go along with a crowd of other sheep. People look at me as if I have some kind of mental issue when I tell them that I'm an Atheist. Some look at me with pity. Personally, I pity the person who will instantly automatically invalidate any good argument because it runs counter to some religious belief. In the history of the world, religion has done far more harm than good, in my opinion. How many wars have been fought because "my god is better than your god"? How many scientific discoveries were stifled by churches? I firmly believe that mankind had to invent religion/god when it lost the fear of nature.

I would wager that if an individual was going door to door (or cave to cave) 5,000 - 10,000 years ago, trying to sell something as intangible as religion (take it on faith) he would have starved.

BTW, this is no way an attack upon the pious. I may not agree with your perspective, by I do most definately respect your right to believe in whatever you want to believe in.

The Book of Genesis is not a scientific treatise where creation is concerned. The creation story is concerned to answer "Why" and leave it to science to answer the what, how, when, and where questions. Let God be Gopd and let science be science.

If a theory is proved wrong one time then its not a valid theory.

Creationists believe in evolution, as in changing like skin color or size, but what they don't believe in is over time a monkey changing to become a human. Which seems to me like a stupid idea that will never fully be proved. Imagine how hard it would be to change the dna of an animal to a human.

To all who have those who site creationists who don't know what they are talking about, don't because those creationists are just stubborn and make up radical statements without studying them.

Also, creationists believe in dinosaurs and wolly mammoths. What we don't believe in that there are different species of human and that the bones they find, lucy and such, can't prove anything about humans today because there is no prove for those dead humans to have had offspring.

Yes there are a lot of evidence for evolution, but there is also a ton of evidence against it.

Sure evolutionists can prove all these things on Earth but they won't dare try to explain evolution and its relationship with outer space. There are more contradictions against evolution than most evolutionists know, if you watched all 9 parts of the video.

The Bible is right, because its the word of God. I have an assignment for you Evolutionists read the Bible and I'll read about evolution, because all we humans want know is the truth right?

1st of all mr. william ( who is also from Utah )says that because the mitocondrial DNA in a Neandrathal wasn't similar enough to a human that it is impossible that humans never evolved. what if they acidentally found some other DNA? And why would a neandrathal,an animal that looks pretty much like a harry grandpa, NOT be related AT ALL to a human. Are you trying to tell me that god just killed neadrathals and plopped humans on Earth? you also said that scientists manufacture bits of skulls and bones and LIE to convince the world to believe in evolution. I guess that means they manufactured the dinosaur bones they find almost everyday and insects trapped in amber and even things like a wooly mammoth they find frozen in ice. THAT WOULD TAKE SO MANY RECOURCES AND TO MUCH TIME. You just want an excuse to get scientists to shut up because you know that you're wrong and you don't want anybody else to know so you rally all of your friends and try to crush the idea that evolutuion occured. I myself am christian and belive that evolution occured and in the begining something had to have started it all. AND I MEAN THE VERY BEGINING! LIKE 4.5 BILLION YEARS AGO! thats where God comes in. I hate to be an evil conspiratist but open your eyes and don't even think of telling us to open our eyes ( mr. Jfab!) what do you mean by check my facts THEY'RE ALL CORRECT! and open my mind? I LOOKED AT YOUR DIVINE CREATION IDEA AND SCIENTIFICALLY IT MADE NO SENSE!!!!! ALL OF YOU NEED TO EITHER GET AN EDUCATION SO YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE THOERY OF EVOLUTION OR CONSIDER OTHER IDEAS THAN JUST YOUR CURRENT RELIGOUN! AND BY THE WAY I'M ONLY 13! SO GO READ SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE BOOK OF MORMON FOR ONCE!

Man, I'm about to jump into some serious stuff here. Anybody who speaks truth in this venue becomes a candidate for roasting over a slow fire. Oh well, here goes:

Evolution is not a theory. It is a observable phenomenon of nature. Just like the fact that the Sun comes up in the morning and goes down in the evening. There is no such thing as a "theory of evolution." Much like the geocentric presumption of the biblical scribes, which was later proven wrong by Copernicus and confirmed by Galileo, much to his chagrin, as he lived in Italy, well within reach of the Pope, and got to choose whether to recant or roast; Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection would never have survived the Inquisition of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church of Rome. That has absolutely nothing to do with it's merit. That has to do with raw temporal power. That's why the founders were adamant to separate church and state. When the church has temporal power it will use it to supress whatever it finds offensive. Amen.

Darwin's theory has been abused since its inception to confirm a Calvinist Christian concept that has since been named "Social Darwinism." The ridiculous extrapolation that the rich are rich because they deserve to be and the poor are poor for similar reasons. Darwinian Natural Selection applies to speciation, not to competition within established species. If you choose to try to understand science from what you hear on Faux News, you will never understand anything.
