Ted Haggard, Part 2: Responding to Christian Critics and Learning the Limits of Faith

I think everyone should avoid judging. If a christian repents of sin then he is redeemed. Jesus cleanses us of that sin. I read that he admitted sexual immorality.. its up to him to repent of that and I wont judge him because if he has repented all his sins then I wont hold it against him anymore. Its like the bible says do unto others.. well I say that about judging too. Bible says we will be judged in the same manner that we judge others. bible is warning us not to judge anyone unjustly!

Ted Haggard is a hypocrite, we all can agree on that, but I think we are missing the bigger point here. Christians are always talking about sin, forgiving sin and Jesus loving everyone no matter what! Well, this the best proof I have ever seen of what the "church" is really all about, politics and nothing more. The Haggard scandal is a perfect example of what Christians claim to be all about, forgiveness. They are supposed to accept him and his sin with open arms and help him overcome his sin. They are supposed to be there to help him, at least that is what Jesus would do.

What a scab of a man! He actually has the audacity to condemn his former church and their members for how they treated him, when he would have done EXACTLY the same to anyone committing the same heinous acts he was convicted of before he got caught. How convenient that he excuses himself for his actions under the mantle of Christianity all the while accepting huge sums of other people's money. Then he profits further by making a documentary to further expose his actions and he thinks this is OK? The man is a sorry excuse for a human being, let alone a former church leader who held power over an entire congregation. Too bad that public stoning is not still in vogue; God would cast the first one on this loser.

Okay, I'm really confused about all of this. We have a big-time, "good" evangelical preacher that's preaching hell-fire and damnation to all gay people that gets himself exposed practicing what he's condeming, an ultimate hypocrite! Then his big-time loving church pays him $20K monthly plus benefits to get out of Colorado and keep his mouth shut, which he doesn't, and now we learn that he probably queered around with boys from his own congregation, which his "deacons" knew about and paid off to keep them quiet?!?! Now he's crying because he's spent all of his big settlement and he doesn't have fellowship with the congregation he accepted money from to leave?!?! Also, he was paid big bucks by HBO for the documentary and there's talk of a book deal?!?! Well, well, well.....it looks to me like the only one that gave Brother Ted a good screwing was he man-whore!!!!!!

Reverend Haggard "trained" that church to behave the way it did. He had a personal problem arise and he was treated the way he evidently treated others before his own fall. Now he complains about it? The man is full of himself.
