Orlando City of Lights 6/6/09

I heard words of wisdom spoken by the leader of America to the Moslem world. President Barrack Hussein Obama said: “The Holy Koran teaches that whosoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whosoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind.”

Then, I thought, the president is talking about religion, bravo! Then I thought again, but what about the thousands of innocent children that are aborted (killed) in the United States of America everyday? And, I remember the words of Pope Benedict XVI to the presidents of Latin America bishops’ committees for the family and for life, the Pope said: “Abortion is a crime of aggression not only against the unborn (innocent), but also against society,” 12/3/05.

Behold! The Word of the Lord came to me saying: Because you have said: “We (USA) have made a covenant with Death, and with Hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves.” Isaiah 28:15

Now, the Overflowing Scourge has been passing through the land of America, since April 20th 1999, and I remember the Word of the Lord spoken in my ears in October of 1999: “To the leaders of the churches I say REPENT; for you have confused MY sheep with religious rituals; you have feed them fantasies of your own mind, and take their money offerings for Faith and prosperity that you can not deliver. You use MY NAME to work miracles; yet I don’t know you, neither do you know MY NEW NAME. I say to the people of all nations serve each other; love one another; for your government tells you: “Love your country and your flag.” But I say to you; before you love your country and your flag; love your father, mother, spouse, children, and your brothers and sisters, your neighbors, and the people of all nations. Porque la boca de JEHOVA lo a dicho asi.” And the prophet praised HIM saying “ALELUYA! AMEN! ALEUZENEV! Thank YOU for forgiving our sins.”

Later in January of 2000 the Lord said unto me: “Neither the statue of Liberty nor the government of it, and its god of paper will save you.” That was to assured the Children of The LIGHT, that FAIHT in GOD and obedience to HIS WORD; is our only SALVATION; and not the Government promises for FREEDOM and PROTECTION through the shedding of blood. HE finished saying again: “Do not be afraid of Death, because Death is among you: be afraid of not loving your neighbor because if you don’t you shall die.” And that was to remind us; that the anti-CHRIST is alive and TRIBULATION will increase throughout the World with his false teachings and lies.

Pope John Paul II spoke saying before the 2003 Iraq war: “This war would be a defeat for humanity which could not be morally or legally justified.”

Bush justifies it, and Obama morally changed the name, thus the Overflowing Scourge is passing through America, and a burning up has been determined upon the World.

Jesus disciples asked him, "Do you want us to fast? How should we pray? Should we give to charity? What diet should we observe?" Jesus said, "Do not lie, and do not do what you hate, because all things are open before Heaven; and there is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed, and not in darkness where My Light shall not Shine." Gospel of Thomas

“For God, Who commanded the Light to Shine out of darkness, Has shined in our hearts, to give the Light of the Knowledge of His Glory in the Face of Jesus Christ.” II Corinthians 4:6

To the Governments of America and the World, I repeat these words: Expanding Mercy and Love with our World neighbors, and feeding the hungry and poor is also an order from The LORD to all people; but to those that have received power, the prophet writes: “Health, Education and Feeding the Poor must be their only concern.” I Pray for You and Peace for the World, Ivor Manuel prophet.

Anyone considering abortion or who knows a person who is, please, PLEASE!!! I beg of you to stop them! I am 28 yrs old now. But I got pregnant at 18 years old with a man whom I was not in love with. His parents pushed for me to have an abortion. They insisted I would get fat and say anything horrible to get me to do it. I can say I stood up for my beliefs and gave birth to a beautiful girl at the age of 19. I was treated horribly by nurses at the hospital at that time for in the area it was very rare for people of that age to have babies. Yes, I was not aware of what I was getting into and I had plenty of maturing to do. But today she is nine years old. I am so thankful I had the guts to stand my ground and keep her. It was a long long struggle with NO family support , very little money, standing in food lines, doing anything to feed my child and endured her abusive father for three years. But in the end, God saved me and took me and my child from that horrible man and blessed me with the husband I have today. I am now expecting my third child and am so excited. But I cry everyday for the babies who are killed for convenience. It hurts me so deeply. I pray to God that he helps stop the murdering of these children. I am only 17 weeks pregnant, but I feel her jumping within me. My baby is alive now! I have been blessed to be able to carry a child. I thank God everyday. Please stop the killing, have mercy.

I find myself being a fairly agnostic person on most issues, but I am sorry "Really Catholic Church... Really?", the advertisement was COMPELLING. It celebrates the election of a person who does not share the viewpoints of the church and is respectful and mindful to remind us ALL that the choice that President Obama's mother made was a choice they support.

Celebrating not just his mother's choice but the people's choice as well, and that's what I think is compelling , they don't even agree with his political viewpoint on the matter at hand, for a 41 second ad , it's made a strong statement - someone gets an A in media studies for this ad.

Mark T of WI 10:21AM January 24, 2009

This ad proves that the commonly cited "the baby will be born to a single mother, and it's going to suffer and struggle all its life", pro-abortion argument just doesn't hold water. A child in the womb has unknown and possibly unlimited potential, if their mothers only had the courage to carry their baby to term.

There are plenty of reasons as to why a woman in a difficult emotional or financial situation might feel abortion to be the proper "choice", but none of those reasons can ever justify taking an innocent life.

I pray that Mr. Obama appreciates the courage and sacrifice on the part of his mother for birthing and raising him, despite the obstacles. She could have had him aborted like many other women in her situation would have done.

p.s. Pro-life Catholics for Choice!?!?!? Isn't that an oxymoron? Seriously guys, cheer for the team or get out of the stadium.

Virulent anti-Catholic sentiments, such as those expressed here, only illustrate how wed pro-abortion Americans are to the pro-death culture which so diminishes human dignity in this country. Rather than provide a logical defense for the elimination of an innocent (i.e. non-threatening) life, pro-aborts resort to name-calling and vague references to the odious institution of the Catholic Church. Of course, a logical, scientific, and ethical argument to support abortion does not exist, so pro-aborts resort to the language of a toddler, belittling the one institution that has consistently defended human life.

The trouble with these threads is that you never know if your correspondent will be around to see your comment. Well, let's hope you do see this!

I think we both would agree it is not natural that a mother would kill her child.

I'm not sure we DO agree about that one! It's certainly SINFUL for a mother to kill her child, but I'm not sure it's unnatural. We both realize that it happens more than a million times a year just in this country alone. Most women who abort go on to lead 'natural' lives. I would say that the goal should not be to get women to behave in a NATURAL way, the goal should be to support them in behaving in a life affirming way. Violence and selfishness are 'natural'. We should be aiming for higher than 'natural'.

The only reason women get to decide to harm them is because they are legally given the right to do so.

Again we disagree. I would say that the only reason women constrain themselves NOT to harm their unborn in difficult situations is because they've stepped beyond the instinctual or have been supported in stepping beyond the instinctual. A mother won't sacrifice her well being in support of someone she can't even see unless she believes in more than her own selfish good. The question isn't "why do some women harm their unborn?", the question is "why do some women endure harm to their own happiness in support of their unborn?"

Either we offer them a loving alternative with support, or we don’t.

That's right. That's something we agree about! It's not easy or natural for a woman with an unwanted pregnancy to put up with the hassle of bringing her child to term and it's not easy or natural for the rest of us to do what's needed to support such a woman. If we're ever to enjoy the rewards of a 'Culture of Life' we're going to have to go up against the grain of 'easy' and 'natural'.

God has revealed to us that He sees the whole “Am I my brother’s keeper?” response a little different as I recall. Catholicism 101, isn’t it?

A little different from what, exactly? Abel was at Cain's mercy and things haven't changed a bit. We're still at each other's mercy! Every unborn child is at its mother's mercy. I ask myself, "What am I doing to assist mothers in choosing life?" The answer I give myself is that I have plenty of room for improvement. I'm not at all satisfied that I'm doing everything I can. God knows how many children would have been saved from death if I were doing a better job of being my brother's keeper.

Time to find another calling card to fit your very safe “religion”, because it’s anything but Catholic!

You're convinced my religion is very safe. I'm not convinced you even know what I'm talking about.

Pro-Life Catholics for Choice

growing up in a very poor environment does NOT mean that you make bad choices, whether you are white, black or something else. Having a responsible parent and a child who will listen and not make the bad choices is the key.

The reason why so many "clinics" are built in those areas is because of Demand. They didn't build these here to invite kids to have an abortion. Why doesn't anyone talk about abstinence and helping the kids make better decisions. Why don't we STOP handing out "raincoats" Why don't we have more appropriate Life Lessons of all teenagers and telling them what will happen in their life if they create life too soon.

My mother had me at 18 and had one before at 16 - first one was given up for adoption. My sister has had 5 kids, she gave #4 up for adoption... We do need to focus on WHY the kids are needing abortions or having the pregnancy to begin with and stop focusing on what they need to do after they get pregnant.

Let's prevent the pregnancy, not prevent the birth!

Kellie of TX 11:48AM January 21, 2009

The article brings up an interesting point that has been made before, but I can't help but wonder about the flip side. Not to pick on Catholics, as they aren't the only ones using this reasoning, but I'd like to understand something. Why is it pro-life folks use info like this to say "who knows what good an aborted child could have done" when the obvious flip would be to look at people who have been downright evil, violent and murderous and say "look what good an abortion could have done?" Although I'm not exactly pro-abortion, I'm not against it in certain circumstances, and I'd rather have someone who can't deal with a baby decide not to have one than to have one and subject it to torment. I have seen this and it's appalling.Of course, in my humble opinion, I'd rather see someone decide not to get pregnant or get someone pregnant in the first place, but that's just me I guess!"

Sue Dean of 11:25AM January 21, 2009

Mr. Bradford – With all due respect, I think we both would agree it is not natural that a mother would kill her child. The only reason women get to decide to harm them is because they are legally given the right to do so. And that is “natural?” Either we give mothers the right to kill, or we don’t. Either we offer them a loving alternative with support, or we don’t.

Pro-Life Catholic for Choice? Sell that one to Abel. God has revealed to us that He sees the whole “Am I my brother’s keeper?” response a little different as I recall. Catholicism 101, isn’t it? Time to find another calling card to fit your very safe “religion”, because it’s anything but Catholic!
