Jesus said, That when we pray we should pray to the Father in HIS name....That's it.

My hope is Rick will not be ashamed to say the name of Jesus!!

100 yrs ago people of the United States honored his name now

we have all these other religions who want to say they are

not happy and holler discrimination and they are NOT the majority of the people. Polls says 86 percent of the United

States believes in God why do we have to give in to the other 14 percent who don't even believe there is a God. The bible

says that a fool says in his heart there is no God.

EVERY BELIEVER OF JESUS CHRIST

Needs to say a pray for Rick to bring glory to the name above

all names!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Bless

Once America are sending missionaries, pastors, evangilist and teachers all around the world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ "The Bible". For the pass decades it seems americans has forgotten their faith in God and has rejected the word of God in schools and in public places, which is very ironic. Now I think its time America will bow down there knees to God and PRAY. Glory to God that President elect Barak Obama invites Rick Warren to do the innvocation prayer on his inauguration

God bless America.

Obama asked a CHRISTian minister to pray. I would fully expect, then, that he would be praying through Christ. If we were to have a Jew elected president, I would expect him or her to have a rabbi say the prayer. Same for a Buddhist or Muslim. As a Christian, I pray that this country would have a true Christian (as only known by God and the President) for a leader. However, if it so happens that a person of another faith is elected President in the future, I'm not going to have my own faith shaken by one person's prayer. Nor would I expect a prayer to make a political statement. It's an appeal to God and should never be reviewed for its political correctness. Anything other than genuine would be an abomination.

I can't believe people are getting upset at Obama for choosing Rick Warren to give the inauguration prayer. He's a pastor and his job is to spread and live by God's Word. God's Word CLEARLY states that homosexuality is a sin. So ANY man of God chosen to give the prayer would have the SAME views. If he DIDN'T follow the Word, everyone would be jumping on him for trying to distort God's word. Would you get mad at the mailman for the mail he delivers or the garbageman for picking up the garbage? The Bible wasn't written to accommodate people's choices, it was written to better them.

I think Rick Warren SHOULD invoke Jesus if he is a true Christian. He shouldn't be evasive with the question. He should PROUDLY answer IN JESUS' NAME. There IS no other way to pray! Jesus said himself "Do not be ashamed of me and I will not be ashamed of you in front of My Father." What else is there to discuss?

For CHRIST of NY 9:24PM January 01, 2009

RICK WARREN CLAIMS JESUS CHRIST AS HIS LORD AND SAVIOR! IF HE WOULD LEAVE OUT THE NAME OF JESUS IT WOULD MAKE HIM LOOK NO DIFFERENT THAN PETER, WHEN HE DENIED CHRIST 3X! (HE WOULD BE SELLING OUT AS TO "NOT OFFEND OTHERS!) JESUS NEVER CARED WHO HE OFFENDED! HE SAID "NOBODY COMES TO THE FATHER BUT THROUGH ME!" AND FOR THAT MATTER RICK WARREN INVOKING THE NAME OF JESUS AND PRAYING FOR THIS FOOL OBAMA STILL DOESN'T MAKE OBAMA A CHRISTIAN! OBAMA IS THE WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING! AND MORE 'ANTI'-CHRIST THEN ANYONE I KNOW! HE'S A FAKE, A LIAR AND A POSER! AND HE'S NOT EVEN A US-BORN CITIZEN!!! WAKE UP AMERICA! WHY COULDN'T SCHWARZENEGGER RUN FOR PRESIDENT? HE IS NOT A "BORN" US-CITIZEN! NEITHER IS THIS IDIOT OBOMA! HE WAS BORN ON KENYAN SOIL! HIS OWN GRANDMOTHER SAYS SO! THEY EVEN CALL OBAMA A "SON OF THE VILLAGE"! BUT APPARENTLY AMERICA IS SO CRUMBLED WITH IT'S MORALES AND ETHICS, IT LET'S ANYBODY BECOME PRESIDENT THESE DAYS! HE BOUGHT HIS SENATE SEAT AS WELL! HOLY COW... WHAT DOES IT TAKE FOR AMERICA TO WAKE UP??? YOU WANT CHANGE??? SO DID GERMANY AT ONE POINT... THAN 1 YEAR LATER THE COUNTRY CHANGED IT'S MIND ABOUT HITLER! OBAMA IS NO DIFFERENT THAN HITLER! JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN SAVE US! AND AGAIN IF YOU BELIEVE THAT RICK WARREN'S PRAYER AND INVOKING THE NAME OF JESUS WILL MAKE OBAMA A CHRISTIAN??? ROFL! JESUS SAID: "BY THEIR FRUIT YOU WILL KNOW THEM! A GOOD TREE CAN'T BEAR BAD FRUIT. NEITHER CAN A BAD TREE BEAR GOOD FRUIT! THUS BY THEIR FRUIT YOU SHALL KNOW THEM!" PRO-ABORTION AND FUNDING THEM IS IN THE SCRIPTURES???

I hope that Rick Warren does invoke Jesus' name. It will be the beginning of a spiritual awakening for America.

Tom F. Rayburn of MS 6:36PM January 01, 2009

I am confident that Rick Warren will be the same consistent representative of the Lord Jesus Christ that he always been.
