John of NY,

we have a president who is bringing the troops home already.

If Ron Paul had any convictions, why didn't we here him protesting his buddy Bush using pre emptive aggression to start wars we had no business starting.

Ron Paul's problem is that he sat on his hands while being in Congress while we got into these optional wars. Apparently Ron Paul has no influence with his own peers in Congress and he clearly has no influence with Republican voters, who seem to agree that Paul is the LaRouche of the GOP. Ron Paul is turning out to be the biggest phony of all the candidates as he never attacks Romoney who has promised to start new wars if he becomes president. face it, Ron Paul is trying to get his son a cabinet position and has thrown in with the billionaire oligarchs who are stealing our republic.

What is clear is the "befuddlement of folks" who worship Ron Paul as the high bishop of Ayn Rand 's gospel of greed. Wake up and pull your head out of the sand.

Hello Ken of CO,

You 'apparently' are blinded by your partisan bias. Dr. Paul has been true to his convictions in Every case for decades. If Mitt Romney is elected, it will be in spite of Ron Paul's efforts to redirect the course of history away from pre emptive aggression and to educate his opponents [such as Mitt Romney].

If you are supporting the current administration, do you forget the big 'surge' in Afghanistan by Barack Obama or his solo decision to launch most of the 5000 deadly NATO sorties against the Libyans so recently?

What is 'clear' is the befuddlement of folks who still think that the Obama administration is opposed to international aggressions and the folks who believe that Obama is for personal freedoms for Americans.

Time to bring home the troops, elect Dr. Ron Paul.

Rep Smith is right and we should get out of Afghanistan already to let the Afghans defend themselves. We just can't continue to flush money down the black hole of the expensive Bush Wars anymore.

As for Ron Paul, he's just a gimmick who apparently is part of a power play to get the warmonger Romoney elected. Ron Paul has gone along with Republicans in the past decade of warmongering without blinking an eye and clearly has been unable to convince any Republicans of his so-called convictions against expensive wars.

What is clear is that all the real Republican candidates would prolong the war in Afghanistan, in including the Ron Paul gimmick. Good reason to not vote for any of them.

Too bad Ron Pauls campaign hadn't caught on more in 2008, we wouldn't be facing most of these problems today.
