"We are still at war in Afghanistan," Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told the Senate Budget Committee Tuesday.

The visitor appeared just then in dusted old costume from playing some colonial part, turning to the man standing next to him and asking "On What date was war declared with Afghanistan?" So cast the man a look which begs just who wants to know, until the whispered voice of that visitor - for after all, a budget committee meeting was still in progress in the room - announced "I am Thomas Jefferson of Virginia" and whether or not he went out the door, he faded, quickly he faded away while the meeting Droned on and on.
