Let the Taliban have the country. They can have Karzai and his cronies too. Enough is enough of trying to help an idiot establish a government, etc.

Nobody wants to admit that they are losing, or in a no win situation. It would be foolish to come out into the open and admit this to your enemies. I feel that the reality is though that the Taliban have time on their side and will just largely sit back until all of the foreign troops have either grown weary of fighting, or have run out of money to finance their war and have left. Then the Taliban will take over again.
