Can Romney Pay for A Larger Navy Fleet?

Romney has been saying this for years, but it will not happen unless China loans us more money. We simply do not have the funds since Wall St. blew up taking all our houses with it, and nobody else is dumb enough to lend us more money. Romney would have to print the money to do it.

The only way I would ever support an expansion of the fleet is if it is a net cut in cost. IE replace 1 super carrier with 2 medium carriers which can operate almost as many planes at lower operating cost and cost about 1/2 of a Ford class.

We could build littoral ships similar to the Dutch Sigma class (they cost 80-100 million each) and trash our bloated littoral combat ships which weigh in at a stupidly expensive 490 million each. Or we could buy into the German MEKO design which if kitted out similar to a littoral would cost only 300 million and is stealthier

Continuing to spend on military adventurism is a fools game, and the American people will be the losers, as the high costs of borrowing to pay our debt eventually bury us in inflation.

We cannot allow any more war mongering or we will lose our reserve currency status in the world.

Ron Paul is for liberty, freedom, less government intrusion in our lives, and peace.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone would vote for Obama or any of the other GOP candidates, unless they have been brainwashed by the media. Here are some solid facts about Ron Paul:

His foreign policy is completely correct, according to the ex-head of the CIA's Bin Laden unit, Michael Scheuer, who is an expert on the middle east and terrorism.

He predicted the financial crisis we are now in back in 2002, while everyone else was jumping on the bandwagon and helping create the problem.

He doesn't take corrupt lobby money from anyone. ( http://tinyurl.com/75893co )

He has been re-elected to his Congressional post 12 times, so he is highly electable.

He has never voted against his conscience, even under the pressure from his peers and his party. He puts America first.

He would eventually put an end to the federal reserve, who has been taking from American taxpayers for 100 years. ( http://tinyurl.com/5vmkf57 )

He would cut 1 trillion from the budget immediately to help get our 15 trillion dollar debt under control, and balance the budget in his 3rd year.
