Florida Poll: Obama Beats GOP Candidates on Foreign Policy

The Quinnipiac University poll, released today, shows 46 percent of Florida voters feel Obama would do a better job on foreign policy than GOP candidate Romney. Sunshine State voters favored Obama on global affairs by a wider margin (49 percent to 43 percent) when the commander in chief was pitted against the other Republican front-runner, Newt Gingrich.

The budget proposal will ask lawmakers for just under $525 billion for next year, according to a White House memo leaked to reporters in December.
