Experts Say Youth Vote Was Never Big Enough to Carry Ron Paul

Perhaps not, but the youth vote, added to the 30-something vote, added to the 40-something vote, added to the 50-something vote, added to the 60-something vote, and a few votes from the 70, 80, and 90-something group is a HELL OF A LOT OF VOTES.

THEN, you have to multiply that by, let's see, ummm Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, and Constitutionalists....so that's X 5?? Is that right?

Oh, and I belong to a Ron Paul Meet Up Group that has 225 members-80% of which are over the age of 30. This is not just a youth movement idiots! This is a movement that people of ALL ages are enthused about because it takes us back to a smaller, more Constitutional Government.

How about researching "Liberty Candidates"...the new generation of politicians that agree with Ron Paul's values and run on a Liberty Platform. Just today at our District Convention, the middle-aged Delegates joined in with the youth Delegates and over-took the District Committee spots. After the Convention all the middle-aged Delegates commended the younger Delegates for "taking on the Establishment".

Oh, foolish, foolish people. This is not a passing movement. This is the future of our Country and the future of our Government. It is time for a changing of the guard. So, you can either join the REVOLUTION, or go sit down on the couch and watch some more FOX News. And by the way, I am 43 years old and Mitt Romney will NEVER get my vote! I vote for honest candidates with high moral integrity that want to follow the Constitution of the United States! I LOVE RON PAUL!!!!! He is just what this country needs. A breath of fresh air to remove the corruption that has stunk up Washington for decades! RON PAUL 2012!! No One But Paul!!

What you need to do is get an independant record of all Ron Paul votes when their numbers don't match up with your numbers .......

Godalmighty of NY 9:42PM May 01, 2012

It's Ron Paul whio is now (pardon the pun) the elephant in the room.

BIG TIME!

one by one the fall before Paul

Because he's the only one that represents us ALL!!!!!

A brokered convention will result in a broken ROMNEY...

and if you can actually believe it...a CNN & Rasmussen poll both showed Paul as either winning or a statistical dead heat with Obama...Romey was the loser by 3%.

It's a loooong ways from over, and Paul has proven himself to be the statesman of statesman once again.

Those "experts" are the same ones that said he was un-electable. Well, if that's the case...why was he offered secret service protection?

How is a one term senator whom noone had ever heard of any more electable.

The less Pauls' name is mentioned simply proves how feared he is by those who have been indulging at the public trough for decades.

Oh, I know, O know, "it's his foreighn policy"

hmmmm, kinda' funny that the lead man of the Osama Bin Laden case has supported Ron Paul...and ummmm, let us not forget...

he has more campaign contributions from active military men & woman than all other candidates combined.

It's sooooooooo Ron Paul.

Hey Joel,

Im a 24 year old supporter here from NC too, and in my hometown of Yankee Retirementville NC I have only seen Paul posters by the polling stations and maybe one or 2 O'12 stickers, so there looks to be some solid support around here, and all my friends are jumping on the freedom loving bandwagon too. My plans are to just sit patiently until I get the chance to vote or until the convention. All these predictions and speculation are totally useless, and it doesnt matter what the media says anyway. Its not like they know what they are talking about, simply because as of right now everyone but Gingrich won Iowa or something like that and if they are so all knowingly powerful, how did they screw that one up? I take it as the same way they will mess up Romney and his presumptive win of the nomination, just get ready to hand it over to Paul where it originally belonged to start with

I am 52 years old. I don't think you could call me "the youth vote". There is more to this movement than the just students and 30 or younger folks. We are going to be around a long time. Were not going away!

I challenge this HOW THE HELL DID OBAMA GET elected the MEDIA is the problem you all don't report its all about Mitt and Obama do yourselves a favor start talking or face the wrath of us Paul Lovers because if he doesn't get in you are all to blame and trust us we will do everything in our power to ensure that you guys fall to the way side by lowing viewership and discouraging others to watch or listen. We are FED UP WITH THE BS

jeremy of CA 8:55PM April 20, 2012

I'm 40 by the way and all my friends (who are my age) love Ron Paul as well, though we've never been polled.

Joel of NC 4:16PM April 20, 2012

Maybe if Ron Paul has the biased support of Fox News and whoever else 24/7 he might actually garner a few million more votes too. As hard as he tries, Mitt just can't lose when he has 50% of the news organizations on the one hand backing him and on the other, back-handing Ron Paul. My man Ron Paul has to depend on his fans to spread his word while all Mitt has to do is smile and sing a goofy song to get crowned the king of republicans by the spinning and spitting media machine of Faux news. What a load of crap. Romney is Obama is Rommey. Either way the government gets bigger and we get poorer.

Joel of NC 4:15PM April 20, 2012

I'm not one of the youth, I really wish MSM and its cohorts would quit saying Ron Paul has the youth, and only the youth, as this a fallacy perpatuated by media and is not the truth. I personally know lots of Ron Paul supporters who are over 30.....and African American, Asian, Hispanic, etc. I believe a more accurate description of his following would be "melting pot", but that makes him a real candidate so you can't do that.He has run a debt free campaign on donations from his supporters, I am almost positive this does not only constitute a youthful crowd as a great many of our youth do not have a sufficient enough income to rally financially around the one true candidate,. You can lay pretty good odds that a good portion of the donations come from the over 30 crowd who has a little practice in the finacial ring. QUIT LYING.

Lisa Law of FL 1:27PM April 20, 2012

I think your article is very confused about the facts. I am 48 there are many older supporters who attend his rallies, If only you could see, then you would know. The need to exclude Ron Paul from tv news media is proof. He is winning delegates. If he was losing then he would be on tv news and would not pose a threat. Ron Paul supporters love all people even the media our weapon is love you can't win with hate and cheating and lies. Our hearts belong to us we are free.
