Rick Santorum's speech at the Jelly Belly headquarters in California on Thursday will not be about healthcare reform as we previously reported but will instead focus on foreign policy. According to an e-mail sent to reporters on Wednesday afternoon by the Santorum campaign, the candidate's address will be about the need for a strong American foreign policy.
Though it's still unclear what the speech will focus on, Santorum has long been an advocate for military intervention to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Likewise, Barack Obama's hot mic comments to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev about being "more flexible" on nuclear issues and missile defense after the 2012 presidential election looks like a lock for Thursday's agenda as well.
