Ron Paul Continues to Nip at Mitt Romney's Heels

Earlier today, I saw Mr Romney describe why he wouldn't cut government spending by 1Trillion. Taking 1Trillion from the economy will cause a recession, he says. In fact, government spending is exactly equal to the amount that taxes take away from citizens (both this generation and the next.. and next and next). So, government spending does not increase the economy so much as it transfers spending ability from citizen to government.

This idea of Romney's to increase the GDP number by obliging future workers to pay more is immoral. Mr Romney should do the right thing- the moral thing- and step down.

We won't turn out for romney regardless. How many times do we have to say it. Romney will never get our vote.

I vote in NC tomorrow and RON PAUL WILL have my vote! Nothing the in-the-back-pockets MSM writes to discredit Dr. Paul or his supporters means anything to those of us who are informed and who know this Country is declining. Romney = Obama and Obama = Romney.

RON PAUL STANDS FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!!

Dr. Paul's momentum is exploding because of the strongest marketing method available. Word of Mouth!

ANY TIME THERE IS THIS MUCH FRAUD AND CORRUPTION AGAINST A CANDIDATE BY THE ESTABLISHED CANDIDATES, THERE'S A HIDDEN AGENDA AND THAT AGENDA IS TO KEEP THE RON PAUL SUPPORTERS AND RON PAUL OUT OF THE NOMINATION WHICH IS AS UNAMERICAN AS YOU CAN GET BUT THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING. THEY ARE GOING IN AND TRYING TO SABBOTAGE THE RON PAUL DELEGATES AND THEY HAVE BEEN CAUGHT RED HANDED! THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO DISENFRANCHISE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US WHO HAS THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE ANY CANDIDATE WE FEEL IS BEST TO GOVERN AMERICA. THESE PEOPLE ARE ROTTEN AND CRIMINAL, WE ARE FINDING THAT THIS BEHAVIOR IS LITTERED AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF THIS ELECTION PROCESS. THEY ALL ARE DESPERATELY TRYING TO BLOCK DR PAUL FROM HAVING A FAIR CHANCE AT REPRESENTING THOSE OF US WHO ARENT FOOLED BY THIS VILE GROUP WHO ARE INTENT ON STEALING AND PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM HAVING THEIR VOICES HEARD. THIS IS AS BAD AS IT GETS! IT'S CLEAR TO ME THAT WE NEED DR PAUL MORE THAN EVER, I WOULD TRUST HIM FAR ABOVE ANY OF THESE OTHER HACKS WHO CAN ONLY GET WHERE THEY ARE THROUGH CHEATING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. YES, THERE IS A HIDDEN AGENDA HERE AND IF YOU VALUE YOUR FREEDOM AND LOVE THIS COUNTRY YOU WILL VOTE FOR RON PAUL 2012 AND GIVE BACK THIS COUNTRY TO IT'S RIGHTFUL OWNERS, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

wtf will the media do when romney reaches 1144 delegates ACCORDING TO AN ASSOCIATED PRESS COUNT!? declare him the nominee and let the GOP just accept it as fact without having physically counted the votes?

Brian.vs.thefed of TX 6:16PM May 07, 2012

Not "his supporters" but the ELECTED Ron Paul delegates "are mastering party rules at the state level". These "supporters" don't just barge in from the streets. They have been elected at county level during the caucuses.

Just a note. Ron Paul did win the popular vote in the Virgin Islands. However, when eight precincts in Iowa mysteriously vanished in the middle of the evening (Ames was a Paul stronghold), it's really hard to believe anything the GOP says.

Good points otherwise. There are lots of states left and the state conventions have JUST begun. If Paul suddenly did so well with the first few conventions to be held, will there be more surprises?

jeff_r0x of FL 3:53PM May 07, 2012

Thanks for the coverage!

Romney's "nomination" is dead on arrival. By August, Paul's poll numbers in a straight fight against Obama will overshadow those of Romney's. The GOP Politburo will ignore these hard facts and make an attempt to force their will on the will of the People. The People will prevail. Paul will toast Obama in the swing states (only the swing states matter) with his 55:33 advantage over Obama among independents. After all...

... Voters who want wars, torture, assassinations, "humanitarian" bombings in oil rich countries, indefinite detentions, drone attacks that kill the innocent, erosion of civil liberties, domestic war on the people (drug war), out-of-control debt and spending, graft and greed, crony capitalism, pandering to special interests, bailouts, MORE OF THE SAME, must NOT vote for Ron Paul.

Voters who want peace, a humane foreign policy, restoration of civil liberties, an end to the war on drugs, sound money, balanced budgets, honesty, integrity and transparency in government, and a President wholly committed to Constitutional government can vote or Ron Paul.

Ain't that difficult a choice.

We were lost, but now we're found. Away from the neo-con, delegates unbound.

No one but Paul 2012 ~ America rising
