Despite Losses, Ron Paul is Still Racking Up Delegates

Many polls say that Paul grabs more independents than Obama (I'm one of them!) But between Obama and Romney, independents go for the lesser of two evils, Obama. (Yup, me too!)

It goes to show that had Paul gone up against Obama, he would likely win, as the election is won through the capture of independent votes. So, if you think about it, the Republican Party would rather Obama win than Ron Paul. And that's saying something.

He's not losing. He's increasing his support at every turn most importantly among the patriotic young people who want to have a future in this country.

This grab for delegates the Ron Paul supporters are doing is only payback for all the election fraud, the phony polls and the lack or type of media representation Ron Paul has gotten. The American people are speaking and will continue to speak and show up to save our country.

The GOP has no choice but to nominate Ron Paul. IF they don't he will take a good portion of the GOP party with him to the independent party. Romney will have no chance to beat Obama with only part of his party behind him. So the RNC will have their hands tied and have to nominate RON PAUL or the election is lost before it is even started. Its not about how many delegates you have its about who can beat Obama...Warren Harding election all over again

There has been only a single state convention delegate total that has made it into the headlines. The articles read as a huge win for Romney in delegates-- Colorado.

That the articles called the Ron Paul supporters unaligned delegates to turn the tie into a win for Romney should give us some idea as to how the real delegate race is going. The only trumpeted win for the presumptive nominee is a misrepresented headline. There is a lot more meat on this story but the press is collectively turning a blind eye.

Colorado is the only state to have held a state convention where Ron Paul didn't walk away with all or the Lion's Share of the delegates. How many articles have this in their headline? Nope, all of the articles talk about Ron Paul having no hope to win the nomination.

Especially considering some obscure rule about needing to win 5 states. That the articles always fail to mention that once a national convention meets that it is for the time of the convention THE PARTY and can do whatever the majority of delegates decide is just lazy reporting.

This primary we are watching the change-over in power structure of a political party in the USA. Iowa, New Mexico, Alaska are among the few that have advanced very far into the delegate process and all have seen Paul people take over the state parties. That the papers will only write about it next year says much about who they work for.

he is more than a candidate, more than a politician, more than a man, he is an idea and a way of thinking, a hope for what could be if we are willing to take up the cause of liberty and freedom- not only for ourselves but for future generations. for that reason alone, he is winning.. more to come

Hasn't won? He won Iowa, Minnesota, and Washington State this week alone. I notice few are even talking about it. We'll see you at the convention Romney.

Throw those AP numbers right out the window. They are meaningless, and people who don't know any better are taking them seriously.

Shame on you, Kenneth Walsh.

Obviously no one in the media knows how the election process works. The straw polls are meaningless. The rules of the GOT state that a candidate can only be on the ballot if they win at least 5 states in DELEGATES not straw polls. Ron Paul has officially won Iowa, Minnesota, and Washington. Each with at least half or more of the delegates. He will win many, many more. At the very worst Paul will be in second place. If thing continue as they are now he will have a very good chance of coming in first place. Romneys bound delegates must vote for Romney on the first vote but on the second vote they can vote for whomever they want. I know for a fact that a lot of people in FL that are becoming delegates are Paul supporters and after the first vote they will vote for Paul. Once we get to Tampa the media is going to have a lot of explaining to do.

I love Ron Paul's sweater in this photo. Can I buy one or more? Thanks, Dianna
