Perhaps you should research the exact meaning of "natural born citizen" as defined by case law. In the United States you are a natural citizen if you born in the United States or born to at least one citizen of the United States. So even if Obama was born outside of the US he would still be a natural born citizen by his mother's citizenship, or "jus sanguinis" (by blood), . Even McCain was born outside the US and only retroactively would he be considered a citizen if you apply the "jus soli" (in soil) requirement exclusively as you and birther conspiracy theorists seem to do with Obama. Please don't accuse us Obama supporters to be ignorant when you clearly don't understand the Constitution.

this is to the "gentleman" from south carolina: sir i know for a fact that they have very good schools in S.C. But which one did you go too? don't you know that it''s a law that Anyone that runs for President MUST be a natural born citizen of the United States!
also to other non-thinkers: do you really think that we Americans are so stupid as to vote into office a moslem terrorist, A man would be the most powerful leader in the free world? Please,Please, THINK before showing your ignorance. Love you all, keep wrritting this is what our country is about.

My fellow Americans,(and you republicans too!) why didn't the GOP and the many AMerican that complain about President Obama say anything to X-Pres. G.Bush when he was plundering tax payers money at the tune of millions of dollars? where was your voice then? I guess it was alright because he was of a poarticular persuasion huh? A time will come when you will no longer be able to lie and slander your way through the world. Maybe we should start to look in the mirror(this includs me too) and see us for what we really have become.

If they are so incensed by his lies, then they
should address his no. 1 lie. He is not a Natural
Born Citizen and they have known this all along.
None of the GOP candidates have much respect
in their own party because of this cowardice.
Only the ignorant, liars, or cowards, refer to
obama as president.

The high unemployment had already started when President Obama took office. Everyone expected him to turn the economy around in 6 months...what craziness...he kept us from going into a depression. Why don't we look at the speculators for the high gas prices? And why is it the GOP continues to want to help big oil? Mainly because many are bought and paid for by them...we should be looking into alternative ways...and that doesn't mean nuclear energy...I love when we are traveling and see the wind turbines...and so much safer than nuclear for everyone.
